January Business

Things could always change quickly - but looking unlikely #LCFC will add any further signings today. Still 7 hours left though!

So it's apparently unlikely we will add anymore players today so we pretty much know the squad that is going to take us through to the end of the season.

How do you feel about our January business with Schwarzer, Kramaric and Huth coming in? Do you think it's enough?

****ing rubbish frankly.

As good a player is, you build from the ground up and get a good spine. Sprinkle the stardust on top.

Key positions still woefully weak.

Such a sweeping statement. Covers all bases. Shabby journalism.

If it ends like this then I think it could be enough. Huth seems to be a very strong addition and Kramaric is certainly exciting. Depends what Pearson is thinking tactically really, if Schlupp is going to continue as a left winger and we are going to continue playing four at the back then a left back would have been useful but otherwise I'm content.

I think those 3 are all great additions, but is it enough? I'm not convinced. Very difficult window to operate in, certainly when trying to make multiple signings and rooted to the foot of the table. As i've already said, we made mistakes in the summer not recruiting in to weak areas of our squad.

A sweeping statement that covers all bases

Also, I doubt anyone from RL knows anything

We have needed a left-back since the summer, not being linked with a single one is absolute piss take.

Because if you linked with a player in the media, that definitely means it's true!

Yeah I feel pretty similar. Too many additions can have a negative effect on the rest squad.

Thing is, no one else seems to be signing players either. I think the Jan transfer window is just too difficult to operate in these days. I'm sure they'e been trying to sign players all month. Its just dificult

"things could change quickly but looking unlikely anything will happen"

roughly translates to

"i work for radio leicester it's deadline day nobody at leicester will even speak to anyone who works here i'm going to have to either make something up or just say how things can all change quickly so nobody can say i'm wrong"

I'll reserve any judgement until after 11pm. As if Jason Bourne knows anything!

January is a shite time to buy. the best bet is to try and get a couple of decent loan signing but with Kramaric and Huth its strengthened certain areas, but we are in desperate need of LB and CM and if the knobhead in charge still insists on playing our new star striker wide right and putting square pegs in round holes we are up shit creek no matter who we sign. Maybe he has signed Schwarzer as cover for Nugent..

That happened for all of 5 minutes against Man Utd before he was subbed.

The players we've brought in could all turn out to be great but not signing a left back, when we knew we needed one two years ago, is absolutely diabolical. It's a big and very obvious weakness.

You could argue another striker wouldn't have gone amiss since nobody can hit a barn door except Ulloa so far this season.

I don't think we're badly short other than that, but the biggest problem is that most of our players have underperformed this season. Now, are we relying on them to find their form?

We are done

"@Dorselator: #lcfc Dir of football Jon Rudkin and Sports Dir Andrew Neville have just left Leicester training ground for the night. #closedupshop"

What pisses me off is instea I being pro active and pursuing target areas, we **** off home at half ****ing eight, what a utter shambles, even if nothing went through, surely it is worth staying and trying, instead Neville, Rudkin and Nige are sat at home having tea whilst West Brom sign Fletcher from United, and Hull sign N'doye ffs
