Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Well the vocal minority of morons have won. If we had no chance of staying up we certainly don't anymore. I will be back on here next December when we are slumped in mid table of the Championship and say I told you say.
marko Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Gutted. Can't see who could come in and do a better job.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Seriously, you just know the next manager is going to be the second coming of Frank McLintock.
LCFCFOX6190 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I'd be lying if i wasn't turning against him recently but now im gutted.
SMX11 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Well that is half the squad being in open revolt.
BlueSi13 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 That's rubbish, even Doncaster came straight back up the other year. Oh is it? For every club like us and Doncaster there was a Leeds United, Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday that took years to get out.
Lazlo Steel Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Might stay away from here for a few days. The gloating from one side and the back-biting from the other is going to be unbearable. I didn't want to see him sacked, and I think the timing is bizarre. That said, it's a results game and we are bottom for a reason. I get the sacking, just don't really feel like celebrating. I dread to think who we're going to end up with...
Trav Le Bleu Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Could this season have been turned around under somebody else? I don't know. Will we get somebody in at this stage who will be any good next season? Absolutely not. We only need a caretaker at this stage, lest we get stuck with a Felix Magath. Aye - not much point paying out for someone until we know where we will be next season (I know it's more or less in stone )
weller54 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Bet you're loving this. Well of course you are. Not sure why I said that. Yep.. The guy has cost us our premiership status.. So yes.. I'm happy.. Get someone in now who is mentally stable at least!!
RowlattsFox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 We'll remember this when we're mid table in the championship next season. Stupid time to sack someone with the games we've got coming up, we won't even get the new manager syndrome. Pearson has made a rod for his own back with some decisions but sacking him just after the window doesn't make any sense.
LCCFox96 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Ffs this is a bad decision. We've let the best manager we've had since Martin O'Neill go! Bad move! I hope the Pearson Out brigade are ****ing happy!
Leicesterpool Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Worry now is who we going to end up with? My suggestion for the job would be Steve McClaren.
Spence Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Done with this club for this season. Horrific decision....replace him with who exactly? Can't wait for League One football. League one football ???? You lot really are silly at times
MooseBreath Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 The owners have been incredibly patient but must have now had enough. They obviously trusted Pearson when he blamed his failings on terry Robinson but now to see £9.5m of their cash sat on the bench while we continue to lose games is obviously too much. Brave call. Interesting times ahead.
Unabomber Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Shame to see certain people almost gloating in his sacking, pathetic support. He should have stayed.
Riot Van Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Feel really really really sorry for the bloke. Genuinely didn't think it would happen until the end of the season. Good luck Nigel for the future.
BlueSi13 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Times move on, he was brought in to get us out of league one which he did but you can't dispute that he's been given more time than most managers in his position would. Has he? We haven't been in the Premier League for a DECADE. Seriously, Pearson was right, absolute delusions of grandeur.
weller54 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 God get a grip, he is not good enough. Shit transfers, shit tactics, shit game plans. None of you really know what goes on behind the scenes when it comes to our finances. Spot on!
JP the Fox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Yes we were probably going down this season but Pearson was the man who could have brought us straight back up! If it is anything to do with the mcarthur thing then that is proposterous! Ahhhhhhhh!!! ONE NIGEL PEARSON!
