Arsenal 2-1 Leicester post match thread

Tactics were great this game, we showed so much fight and desire.

Hopefully Morgan is dropped next game though, the other defenders showed how far behind he really is.

I just hope this isn't one of those games we play well then go back to another swansea-esque performance next game.

Great performance tonight. Tactics and formation were pretty much spot on really apart from Schwarzers error. Nice for Kramaric to get off the mark.

Well done, there's hope,

Can't criticise the effort. So frustrating not taking our chances again, though. Anybody who doubted Pearson has lost the players will want to re-think.

Well he would have from me. He's been worse than Nugent and Vardy of late. We needed Nugent behind Kramaric for the last 10 minutes, Pearson's shortcomings showing up again.

Oh right. He was shit vs Spurs, still managed to get a goal though. He is capable so it was right to bring him on imo.

Great performance, shame we didn't finish any of those great chances. **** Arsenal though, managed to grind out the last 10 minutes through a combination of diving and time wasting. Of course, Mike Jones added on a grand total of 0 seconds for all that time wasting in stoppage time.

Disappointing, but no reason to think we're incapable of having a good go at staying up based on the days events. Pearson in.

Really proud of the performance. Played out of their skins.

Kramahrez were both fantastic. The more balls we get to those two, the more chances we create.

I thought the team was a poor choice by Pearson, but actually, it worked really well. How many chances did they have other than the ones we gifted to them?

Great performance and so unlucky (again!)

Shame other results are going against us as looks like season is becoming inevitably over.

Is it me or did Pearson look like he was savouring the moment at the end?

That was so close to be something so beautiful I almost want to cry, but once again we brought it on ourselves.

Don't know if was just me but Pearson/Vichai both looked glum enough to suggest this game might have been Pearson's last chance. Though I would say it's a test he has passed despite the loss if that is the case.

This game sums up our season by far the better side but once again we leave empty handed, feel gutted for Pearson and the lads they deserve so much more for all their effort but missed opportunities and individual errors have cost us so dearly yet again

Positives:

Kramaric scoring his first

Performance was good

Mahrez posed a big threat

3 at the back worked well

Cambiasso and James controlled the midfield

Negatives:

Spurnful up front and silly mistakes at the back.

If we play like that for the next 13 games, I'd be confident of us staying up, but we really need to cut these sloppy mistakes out sharpish,

If a game can sum up your season that is it! Played well yet got nothing, missed chances and 2 poor goals conceded.

We can't play like that when we are up against fellow poor teams.

Given the negativity before the game at least a little pride restored and proof that players are still trying.

I don't really care if the performance was good, frankly.

The result was what we deserved. Why? Because we paid for our mistakes. A 42 year old goalkeeper and a woefully out of form centre back. They've cost us. It's no good having pressure with very little quality in both boxes.

great performance

individual mistakes cost us getting all 3 points

both defensive errors and glaring misses

on to the fa cup

Totally agree with this. Its supposed to be a MINIMUM of 5 minutes!!!!!!!!!

Do we go with that formation from now on? My fear was Kram getting isolated but he didn't and passes were sticking all over the place. Looked a lot more assured with Huth and Upson at the back...what might have been if we'd added the experience in the summer!!
