The Doctor Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Just my opinion but it wasn't in anyway the game for Ulloa, especially given the way we were playing with such fluidity causing Arsenal problems. Agreed - Ulloa has a place in this side, he's a good finisher but he's not one for fluid build up play, which is what was taking arsenal apart.

We need to play like that for 90 mins in every match from now on if we are to have any chance at all of staying up. Our problem is the better sides like to play a more open game which suits us but the so-called lesser sides play much more defensively and we just don't have the craft to seem to be able to break them down. Just out of interest how many yellows has Wasyl now got?

Mad Dog Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 If we play like that every game for the rest of the season, we stay up, and will get a trip to Wembley in the cup if we get a good draw. This is a real test for Nige. Can he keep the same starting XI and keep them playing like that?

Didn't in the second but the radio said we were during the first half! Would like to know as that would have been a strange call at the emirates. NP looked odd at the end. perhaps it's all been organised ?

Yet our position has worsened, we look like an honest side who are lacking in key areas too often. Shame.

We are far from shite, I accept. I'm just hugely disappointed, especially after games like tonight. I'll continue to cling on to that glimmer of hope til we're mathematically down.

Brilliant performance tonight aside from a few errors. Watching Mahrez, Cambi and Kram play together was dreamy. The lads are clearly 100% behind Pearson.

I think we've got to look at potential dropping Morgan I'm afraid. Think you'll be alright mate.
