Guest glasgowfox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Absolute top class performance tonight...proud of the lads and pearson...sick of the negativity lets give credit where its due...
AjcW Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Very very tough to watch Nige at the end there. That looked like a goodbye
tickler28 Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Play like that and we wont be relegated (if we take our chances) Play like that and we can be proud and not embarrassed but were 5 adrift now...have to beat Everton away imho
Donut Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Listen, Pearson in, Peason out, whatever The lads gave 110% tonight and were absolutely fantastic. Proud in defeat.
Danno Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Walcott and Koscienly: 'One of the best opponents at the Emirates, countered well and can't believe they are bottom of the league'
Webbo Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Another hard luck story. At least we're not boring.
katieakita Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 None of us really expected anything tonight and we put in a good performance, Krameric looked very decent and Mahrez is looking class. Rest Konch and Wes and lets go for it on sunday.
Jakemoore Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 How many times are we going to be the better team but still lose? It's heartbreaking. Kramaric was great tonight, he possibly should have scored two but it really wasn't an easy chance. Schwazers kicking isn't much better than Hamers by the way. It's so good to see us playing well again and it's great to see them playing for the manager but all of that is redundant because we are bottom and now we are adrift after results tonight. Playing 5 at the back was an inspired decision by the second best Leicester manager of the last 25 years.
Mark Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Oh right. He was shit vs Spurs, still managed to get a goal though. He is capable so it was right to bring him on imo. Just my opinion but it wasn't in anyway the game for Ulloa, especially given the way we were playing with such fluidity causing Arsenal problems.
bovril Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Great performance yields nothing. We are on life support.
Unabomber Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 I don't really care if the performance was good, frankly. The result was what we deserved. Why? Because we paid for our mistakes. A 42 year old goalkeeper and a woefully out of form centre back. They've cost us. It's no good having pressure with very little quality in both boxes. You wanted us to play 1 central midfielder tbf tho.
MC Prussian Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 First half gave me near-heart attacks on a constant basis, second half was much better. We showed a lot of fighting spirit and dedication and it almost paid off. Feel pride restored. One thing is clear to me: As much as he was an integral part to our promotion push last season, I do not consider Wes Morgan cut for the Premier League. He's not a bad defender, but he's turning into one. Next match Huth/Upson or Huth/Wasilewski as the centre-back pairing of choice.
CollinsLCFC Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Today reminded me of Boxing day against Spurs. We played really well but just so unlucky. I also have ate my own words at the line up/formation, it worked well. Well done Pearson. Just a shame it couldnt of got us a point. Would of been brilliant away to Arsenal. I do think Morgan needs to be dropped. I dont think he has been playing well at all this season. Not slating him, but players should be dropped when not performing. But all in all, a pleasing performance, a miserable result. So where are all these 'going to get slaughtered 5-0 ''fans'' '
TheUltimateWinner Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Pearson's look at the end scares me... Looks like a deflated man who is out of time. I take back any bad thing I have said about him, he has made mistakes in the past but we can't do any better right now and this man deserves the end of the season.
cityfanlee23 Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Problem is we will go out next game and play terrible
EnderbyFox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Anyone who thinks Nige has lost the dressing room can fvck off, everyone gave their all for him tonight. Individual errors cost us once again but can't fault the effort to get back into it in the second half. Dominated for large periods, Kramaric Mahrez and Cambiasso all standouts
Monk Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 We more than matched Arsenal for most of the game, except between their second and half time. Two errors, two goals... and we didn't take a hatful of great chances. Excellent tactics by Pearson tonight, just wasn't enough on the night. I'm encouraged, but we have a mountain to climb now. Can't wait to see the next Arsenal Xmas Panto they're all such ****ing great actors.
kingfox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Individual errors costing us again, but performance wise that was good. Kramaric really impressed me tonight
NorthernFox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Excellent second half. Massively frustrated but in Pearson I still believe. Pearson IN.
Blanesta Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 We played well, but it's the same frustrating mistakes that cost us.
Magictv Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 It's frustrating that we all know we'll go back to being ****ing shit again as soon as we have a more "winnable" fixture.
KFS Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 We're down lads. Very proud of them tonight but it's going to take a lot to get out of this mess
foxfanazer Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Restored a bit of pride back in tge club tonight imo. Nobody can say NP has lost the dressing room. Need to cut out these mistakes. Outplayed Arsenal and had to gift them two goals. Second half we were superb. Cambiasso, Riyad and Kramaric in particular
Leicesterpool Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Really proud of the performance. Played out of their skins. Kramahrez were both fantastic. The more balls we get to those two, the more chances we create. I thought the team was a poor choice by Pearson, but actually, it worked really well. How many chances did they have other than the ones we gifted to them? Pearson IN I agree with that, to be honest up against the big boys, Pearson seems to be spot on.
Guest Kopfkino Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Huth and Upson looked much better at the back, comfortable on the ball which helped a lot. Cambiasso, Mahrez and Kramaric are a class above the rest of our team
