The Guvnor Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Terrific performance, absolutely gutted! make no mistake we had them rattled and their time wasting at the end was f^cking embarrassing!!!
Mark_w Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Well he would have from me. He's been worse than Nugent and Vardy of late. We needed Nugent behind Kramaric for the last 10 minutes, Pearson's shortcomings showing up again. I can understand being unhappy with the position we're in. But looking at this game individually, Pearson obviously didn't do an awful lot wrong. Think you're being ridiculously harsh, he's just ran a side who are light years ahead of us very close, really doesn't deserve to be criticized for this game individually.
Itsthejoeker Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Can't fault Pearson tonight, typical individual errors let us down. This performance has actually given me some hope for the remaining fixtures
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Brought back some pride to the club tonight with that second half. It's never been about effort with this squad, it's always been about quality. If we could have taken just another one of the chances we had, we'd have come away with a draw. HOWEVER, now 5 points off 17th. Both QPR and Hull pulling out victories has left us in trouble.
Master Fox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Walcott: "One of the best teams to go there this season"
queensguardfox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Theo just said on a interview we are the best team to go to the emitates and connot believe we are bottom.
CollinsLCFC Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Am I looking too far into this?? Nigel looks a spent force at the end, he barely spoke to Arsene, acknowleged him and nodded, then proceeded to turn to the away fans and just stare into space before a brief wave, He really did look sentimental there.... I picked up on that.. I think it was just disappointment. He deserved more, and probably knows that the media are going to swoop in now we have lost. Causing more pressure.
iamafox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 So near and yet so far. Wasn't expecting us to win tonight but great showing from our players in the 2nd half. Going to be difficult to replicate this for the rest of the season, we desperately need the wins sooner than later.
NorthernFox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Very very tough to watch Nige at the end there. That looked like a goodbye I thought that... very subdued....
Monk Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Was Nige looking at Vichai or our fans at the end there? He looked like the writing was on the wall.
Wycombe Fox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Walcott and Koscienly: 'One of the best opponents at the Emirates, countered well and can't believe they are bottom of the league' Indeed. I've just seen the interviews. Such a shame we play so well and get nothing. Pearson in
Guest LCFC_World Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Maybe we should have played that formation throughout the whole of this season. Who knows what could have been.
Webbo Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 When I think what set pieces have cost us this season, both conceding and not scoring from. If we could get up to average in that department we'd be mid table.
Richmondfox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Really liked the formation, lots of positives. Once again Wes has a hand on our defeat. The amount of blocks he's made stat gets rolled out, we need the goals he's cost stat. If the team can play like that then we have a chance. Wes and Simpson need to be nowhere near the team, too many mistakes.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Just listening to the RL phone in.... who's Ben Ammer?
bovril Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 I can understand being unhappy with the position we're in. Think you're being ridiculously harsh, he's just ran a side who are light years ahead of us very close, really doesn't deserve to be criticized for this game individually. Fair enough. But I still don't understand why Schwarzer replaced Hamer, and I can't for the life of me get my head around Wes in front of Was.
Wycombe Fox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Was Nige looking at Vichai or our fans at the end there? He looked like the writing was on the wall. I thought the same. It almost looked like a farewell

Don't get me wrong we played really well tonight apart from a couple of errors, just so frustrated that substitution took any threat we had away. He should have been aware of that, especially given his performances of late but not just that, we had to keep Kramaric up front, surely?
ousefox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 ****ing story of our season. I really wish we were shit. I wish the players couldn't string a pass together and we thoroughly deserved to go down. Pisses me off the amount of points we would have if we could translate performances into points. Absolute joke.
NeilLCFC Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 We looked fooking amazing but the game summed up our season. We really shouldn't be where we are in the league
