justfoxes Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Allegedly Danny Drinkwater is being targeted by wolves as a loan, and a friend who works at the molyneux said this would be a fantastic loan if it happened. Can't see us loaning out DD what do you lot recon?????
st albans fox Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Pearson would loan out vardy before DD! Neither will happen
Crinklyfox Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 DD's been on the bench or in the starting line-up for most games, we don't have much cover in midfield so I'd be astonished if NP was willing to let him go on loan.
LCFC FOX Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 I love Drinky. Although a loan wouldn't always be a bad thing. But he can still do a job here. As long as he doesn't partner king
lgfualol Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Not gonna happen with how often our cms get injured.
Soar Fox Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 No chance. He'll still have a big part to play between now and the end of the season.
LCCFox96 Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 We need him in the squad still. He's our 3rd choice central midfielder, our player of the season last year and we are currently deep in a relegation battle. Not a chance.
kingfox Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Going on this season's form he should be fifth choice. James, Cambiasso, King & Hammond have all been better.
Fox92 Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Needs to play here. He's our only midfielder with a bit of pace. I swear even I could outrun Matt James.
ScouseFox Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 crikey forgot he even existed, such a disappointing year
ousefox Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 So disappointed he hasn't had a proper chance with James this year. Would be interesting to see what would have changed if that was our midfield pairing consistently this season.
Unabomber Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 James Drinkwater and Cambiworldclasso one time please Nigel.
AyewJoking Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 the player would benefit from first team football.
Bettsj2 Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 crikey forgot he even existed, such a disappointing year This. Get rid.
Harry - LCFC Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 This. Get rid. You think we're heading into the Championship yet you'd get rid of a player we know can excel in the Championship. How can anyone say with such sureness that we'd be be better of selling Drinkwater now?
st albans fox Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 So disappointed he hasn't had a proper chance with James this year. Second half against Spurs - wasnt a bad performance from what I can remember, especially given they were playing three there.
Dan Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Drinkwater was horrendous at Spurs, and at Man Utd. He's been one of the main disappointments this season for me.

woznotwos Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Has he played with Matty James this season ? I don't think his style suits the likes of King. I cant for the life of me remember.
One Legged Beaver Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 I'd have him at fifth place here as well, but we're too thin on centre mids to allow him to leave, as got proved at the beginning of 2015.
NotTheMarketLeader Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Needs to play here. He's our only midfielder with a bit of pace. I swear even I could outrun Matt James. Crikey. I'm not sure if you are saying DD should play in front of James? The latter not the quickest - that's not his game - but for me the only one of last seasons c midfield to step up and make a fist of it this time, and do most of what is expected. Not sure I could entertain the notion of DD as being a pace merchant either, plus he's been probably our most disappointing player when he has played, based on what we were expecting. One of Pearson's long list of faults is continuing to pick out of form players. DD is apparently not even on his mind as a starter. I agree that we need pace up front however - their back line pretty old and creaky. Sadly not as old and creaky as ours, but still.
