Bob Weasel Fox Posted 12 March 2015 Posted 12 March 2015 This is a game I WOULD NO WAY play the 5 at the back thing. Let's come out fighting... its time for Pablo's fabled 4-4-2. We need to win in front of an expectant crowd. Let's be fearless, hit em with pace and score more than they do. It's time for Nigel bloody Pearson to quite simply secure a good, home win. No more bloody excuses. The season has been full of them. This this and more this
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 12 March 2015 Posted 12 March 2015 100% behind Leicester Come on you Super Foxes!!!!
boki Posted 12 March 2015 Posted 12 March 2015 Against Hull we should play with 4 at the back , and play 4-4-2 or 4-3-3, Hull best attacker is Jelavic and he isn't quick so Huth and Upson/Wes should have no problem with him. Also we should try to press them high and force them to make mistakes
SecretPro Posted 12 March 2015 Posted 12 March 2015 COME ON YOU ****ING FOXES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :scarf: :scarf:
narboroughblue Posted 12 March 2015 Posted 12 March 2015 Interesting from Daniel Storey of Football365 that no team with the worst defence record has stayed up in the prem but the lowest scorers have done so regularly. Not checked the stats to confirm this. His point was that we have spent, allegedly, 17m on strikers but very little on defence and that clubs should learn about solid based. Not that 5 at the back has achieved this but perhaps Pearson has realised this too so is trying to firm things up, not worked to date but still 11 to go to put it right.
lgfualol Posted 12 March 2015 Posted 12 March 2015 Basically he wont drop Morgan but we need two other CBs to try and amend for his mistakes. I hope Wasilewski plays, such a weird move to bench him.

Clever Fox Posted 12 March 2015 Posted 12 March 2015 Ever good Manger know that you build from the back. conceding few goals and clean sheets provide the confidence to move forward. But you've got to have a midfield that create chances and forwards who take them. That's been our down fall all season. conceding soft goals, No creativity in midfield and Forwards missing too many chances. Hopefully that might all change on Saturday.

Fox92 Posted 12 March 2015 Posted 12 March 2015 Watching his press conference now. Kasper back in contention, Hammond back in training, Knockaert still in France with his Dad who is ill.
Dan Posted 12 March 2015 Posted 12 March 2015 Our problem isn't any more conceding goals than it is scoring. There's no consistency to our problems. It's either one thing or another. It's a collective letdown too often.
RedSoxUK Posted 12 March 2015 Posted 12 March 2015 Watching his press conference now. Kasper back in contention, Hammond back in training, Knockaert still in France with his Dad who is ill. Had no idea Hammond was injured tbh, Get him in midfield in a 4 - 5 - 1 Interesting to see which keeper Nigel picks.
davieG Posted 12 March 2015 Posted 12 March 2015 Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel is back in contention for the visit of Hull City on Saturday. The Denmark international has been missing since December after breaking a bone in his foot in training but he has been back in full training for the past couple of weeks and Pearson has confirmed he is available for selection to face the Tigers. Dean Hammond has returned to training after suffering a reoccurrence of a calf injury that he picked up earlier in the season but is unlikely to be considered. Winger Anthony Knockaert will also be absent after being given time off by the club to return to France to be with his father, who has been taken ill. davieG Posted 12 March 2015 Posted 12 March 2015 Nigel Pearson: Kasper Schmeichel is fit but not a certain starter LEICESTER keeper Kasper Schmeichel is fit to return to action after three months out but manager Nigel Pearson insists he is not a certain starter. Published: 15:27, Thu, March 12, 2015By IAN BAKER GETTY Kasper Schmeichel is fit but may not start for Leicester The Denmark international is back following a broken metatarsal in time for Saturday's home game with Hull. But Schmeichel is fighting to take Mark Schwarzer's place with Ben Hamer another choice for Pearson. "Kasper's back in contention which is good so three keepers available which is always nice," he said. "It's been good to get Kasper back into full training. He's been out for a while. Kasper's back in contention which is good so three keepers available which is always nice Nigel Pearson "I will make a decision on what is best for the team going forward. But it's certainly nice to have three very good goalkeepers available. "Nobody's an automatic selection. It is down to a number of factors. "They are all very good talkers. Mark Schwarzer's an excellent communicator, they all have different strengths and nice to have them all back available and that's the most important thing." Anthony Knockaert (personal reasons) is not available as bottom of the table Leicester play for only the second time since February 22. "It is frustrating not playing but you're hoping things go your way," added Pearson. "We remain in the same position league-wise."
MooseBreath Posted 12 March 2015 Posted 12 March 2015 We could have Peter Shilton in his prime, there's no way he'd get into the side ahead of matey boy schwarzer. Kaspar's got no chances.

Well after his performance against Man City no need to drop him, it makes a change now having a keeper who is assured and commands his area

I'm not so sure, especially after Schwarzer actually had a good game t'other day I think starting Schmeichel, who's only just got back to any kind of fitness again, sounds exactly like something Nige'd do at the moment! Either way, I don't think Hamer even gets on the bench for this match, which is a shame. Clean Sheets Ben Hamer - 4 Kasper Schmeichel - 1 Mark Schwarzer - 0 Dropping Hamer is, of course, the logical decision.
filbertway Posted 12 March 2015 Posted 12 March 2015 Well after his performance against Man City no need to drop him, it makes a change now having a keeper who is assured and commands his area To his credit it was a good performance, hopefully those mistakes were down to rustiness rather than him being past it. I'd still have him down as third choice. If anyone brings up Hamer's kicking then take a look at how Schwarzer was kicking in that city game. Can't help but think that now there's another keeper in the mix, Kasper will buck his ideas up and at least attempt to be more commanding in his area.
