RowlattsFox Posted 25 March 2015 Posted 25 March 2015 Amazingly for such a sport fanatic I've only been to football, rugby and snooker. And i went to the snooker shootout so don't really class as proper snooker. Armchair sports fan.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 25 March 2015 Posted 25 March 2015 Went to the Ice Hockey in Nottingham and really enjoyed it (this was a while back) - would be interested to see it in a place where the crowd are ****ing nuts for it, though.

bovril Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 Greyhound Racing is the sport of kings. Promised to take the missus in Glasgow this summer. She's thrilled, obviously.
Asha Posted 26 March 2015 Author Posted 26 March 2015 Went to the Ice Hockey in Nottingham and really enjoyed it (this was a while back) - would be interested to see it in a place where the crowd are ****ing nuts for it, though. I think that was the best part when I went to see it in Czech. The stadium only held about 5,000 but it was completely sold out, everyone going absolutely mental for it. I think it helps that in Třinec the only other thing they really have is the steelworks, so the hockey team is a major part of the town's identity.
kingfox Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 Been saying for the last 3 years I would go to the Crucible but still not got round to it. Tut tut get it done Hirsty, you won't be disappointed. If not then try and get to the qualifiers, only £10 and you get to see two/three sessions, the standard can be just as good as the main draw.
RedSoxUK Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 Football Rugby Union Baseball (Red Sox v KCRs @ Fenway, Yankees vs Red Sox @ Yankee Stadium) Want to go to an NBA game, but it would have to be Raptors or Clippers.
