Renart Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 I saw something similar on a QPR forum after their defeat to Chelsea and was interested in knowing how our attitude to our team as fans might differ to theirs at this point in time considering our present form, our run-in and our games in hand. I think our chances of survival are 'quite good', but maybe I am an optimist?
AKCJ Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 50/50 for me. Yes it's in our hands, but we could quite easily slip up in games like Burnley and Sunderland away, Until this weekend I couldn't see how there would be 3 other teams to take the relegation spots. We've got a lot of work to do, but we've given ourselves a good chance.
Nalis Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 Anyone who vote either the top or bottom options should be shot. I've moved from blind optimism during the season to realistic optimism so its quite good for me.
foxfanazer Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 50-50 to quite good. If we carry on with the desire and attacking intent we've shown recently then we really should be able to do it
FireFox Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 More likely to survive than Manchester City are to make Champions League
The Doctor Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 Everything's fifty-fifty, you either will or you won't. Seriously though we've got a kind set of fixtures, but still 3 points and 3 goals to make up on 17th.
Reg Vardy Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 Think it's interesting, our games up to May 9th, provided we maintain progress,, could render the Sunderland and QPR matches not "must win" Swansea h, Burnley a Chelsea h Newcastle h' Southampton h, it really is in our hands
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 50/50, but a hell of a lot more likely than a couple of weeks ago which is really encouraging. I think at this rate a likely outcome will be decided last game of the season, which could make for a blockbuster ending to the season... Though I'd much rather we win the next 5 games and be officially safe asap. Can't afford slipups now, so it's great that the team is picking up steam and going all out - I can't imagine them reverting back to a cautious approach now (barring maybe the Chelsea game, I'll forgive them for parking a bus then)
David Hankey Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 50/50 for me. We've got a lot of work to do, but we've given ourselves a good chance. The thing is it is not completely in our hands. Even in the unlikely event of us winning all our remaining fixtures or not being beaten we are still relying on other sides to come unstuck. Just let's go at one game at a time and see how things pan out. Nothing is certain.
Livid Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 A positive 50/50 for me, tempered with the fact this is Leicester City we're talking about. Historically we have never gone for the easy option.

Strokes Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 Still pretty slim, Chelsea have shown today the big sides can be got at. A few more twists and turn I think.
Jimbo Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 Looking at our remaining fixtures our destiny is very much in our own hands. But, for me, 2 of our three biggest (or bigger games) are away from home, Burnley and Sunderland. Could be difficult to overcome them. Proper old fashioned treat it like a cup final games. So it's 50/50 but I suppose that's better than being slim, which is what I would've said a couple of weeks ago
Babylon Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 The games against Swansea, Newcastle, Saints are going to be key as I think we'll cock up against those around us once or twice.
Renart Posted 12 April 2015 Author Posted 12 April 2015 Anyone who vote either the top or bottom options should be shot. I've moved from blind optimism during the season to realistic optimism so its quite good for me. Blindfolds for 4 so far!
Strokes Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 Nigel's known for his runs at Leicester, both unbeaten and winless. It would be tremendous if this is one of his famous unbeaten runs in the making.

AKCJ Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 We usually play our best football towards the last few games, looking that way again Yep, we've been quite good in the last few games of the season under Nige and we've got the big results when needed before. I'm tremendously excited.
Rasmic123 Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 50-50 for me, really our survival hinges on games against burnley, sunderland and qpr and those games could go either way.
Jam Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 50/50 for me also it's down to us. I'm sure we are capable of it. It's just I also know how cruel this league has been to us. Come on city!!
justfoxes Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 It's up to Nigel and the lads now they need to put in some extraordinary performances over the last remaining 7 games and if some do want to move on then they need to play out of their skins,I for one am hoping that Pearson admits we can lay better with Albrighton in the side and that Kramaric is a better forward than ulloa!! They need to step up now and play out of their skins and give us premiership survival for a better financial future what with all the money being banded about in the premier league,a mate of mine who's a Utd fan said to me "why have Leicester left it so late for thos results ?" And after replying how we get crap referees and all that and that! And it wouldn't be the same as a Leicester fan if they made it too easy for us they do like to make us fans suffer !! Must go to the bookies to see how much I can get on us going on an unbeaten run now tip the end of the season ?? Oh what a roller coaster of emotions being a Leicester City Fan
