Laid down a real marker today. Agreed. He's improved their team, helped others be more effective and it's showing. People slag him off because he's got mercenary written all over him but I maintain he's England's best upcoming player. Better prospect than Barkley easily. Silva's been absolutely phenomenal in these opening two games.

They barely focused on our 'history' of the club considering they introduced it with our late 90's legends such as O'Neill, Heskey, Izzet, Lennon etc. Most of it centred on last season.

Advocaat will no doubt be questioning his decision to delay his retirement and spend one more year in the chaotic world of football management. The Italian now has maximum points from two games, with the Foxes up in 2nd, dizzying heights for the club. The superb victories means the Midlands outfit will be overflowing with confidence ahead of Saturday's very winnable fixture at home to Tottenham. This is followed by a trio of matches against Bournemouth, Aston Villa and Stoke, meaning Ranieri's roarers have every chance of staying up in dream land. Mauricio Pochettino desperate for fresh faces At half-time on Saturday Tottenham were cruising, 2-0 up against Stoke, and all set to register their first win of the season. However, a disastrous final dozen minutes saw Spurs slip up, with the Potters fighting back to carve out a deserved draw at the Lane. The result highlighted the need for Daniel Levy to supply Mauricio Pochettino with some more funds before the transfer window slams shut on 1 September. Spurs supporters will be very concerned at the underwhelming start to the season, and if the Londoners struggle at high-flying Leicester, then Pochettino (currently 16/1 to suffer the sack next) will start to feel the heat. Roberto Martinez swats away critics in style It's fair to say that Roberto Martinez headed into Saturday's match away to Southampton under a little bit of pressure following a disappointing 2-2 draw at home to Watford. Everton fans are desperate for their club to return to bounce back, following a woeful 2014/15 season, but they were left disappointed after the opening weekend. However, this feeling of disappointment has quickly turned into jubilation after Everton sizzled on the south coast, recording a shock 3-0 victory at St Mary's. Romelu Lukaku was backed to his best, netting a superb brace, while the brilliant Ross Barkley was once again immense. Martinez, who has drifted out to 25/1 in the sack race, knows that there is a long season ahead, but without the distraction of European football Everton will be expected to mount a top-6 finish, while also challenging in the domestic cups.

He had a good world cup and all of a sudden everyone went nuts. I'm sure if he'd come here for 10m and played every week we'd love him.
