ARTY_FOX Posted 2 December 2015 Posted 2 December 2015 Im eagerly awaiting his first 30 yard free kick goal, hes well capable and is quite an expert,i wonder if the opposition know? You'd think they would but sunderland had no idea about his long throw. Watching steven fletcher try to tell everyone to close us into our own corner only for fuchs to launch it past half way was brilliant.

Freeman's Wharfer Posted 2 December 2015 Posted 2 December 2015 Every couple of games he does something unbelievably shit. Its really weird, its as if Peter Gilbert takes over his body for a second. I must have missed that every couple of games. He's been class.
Xen Posted 2 December 2015 Posted 2 December 2015 I must have missed that every couple of games. He's been class. The header he totally misjudged, (can't remember who against), for one. And almost giving away the pen against Palace, I guess. Nothing he's done has cost us anything yet (touch wood) so there's nothing particularly memorable.
MPH Posted 2 December 2015 Posted 2 December 2015 Even getting love from OptaFranz Meaning he hasn't lost in a game he's actually played in (he didn't play against arsenal) It's a terrible German translation That would be 'Yet to be beaten.' Surprised this confused people so much....
MPH Posted 2 December 2015 Posted 2 December 2015 A good quality left back is really hard to come by. Its a very specialist position when you consider the majority of people in the word are right footed, it narrows down the suitability for the role quite considerably.. Yet we have done it again. He is such good quality, its unreal....

He is such good quality, its unreal.... There are left-footed left-backs aplenty in Europe, but you are correct - they are very pricey: Alaba, Rodriguez, Jordi Alba, Marcelo, Baines, Kurzawa, Sandro, Luis, Ghoulam, Tremoulinas, Gaya, Gibbs, Coentrão, Jefferson, Ansaldi, Criscito, Monreal, Clichy, Moreno, Bernat, Balenziaga, Insua, Radu, Adriano, Maxwell, Shevchuk, Mendy, Baba, Willems, Siqueira, De La Bella, Erkin, Bertrand, Wendell, Nacho, Hector, Shaw, etc.
Clever Fox Posted 2 December 2015 Posted 2 December 2015 He's definitely a top 6 left back imo Yes I would agree with that. Reads the game well, Doesn't go to ground easy, comfortable on the ball, and can certainly pick a pass as we seen last week.

MC Prussian Posted 2 December 2015 Posted 2 December 2015 The big question of course is how many of those would come to Leicester City on a wage that we would be willing to pay? Well, that's what I meant by "being pricey".

HitchinFox Posted 2 December 2015 Posted 2 December 2015 Did anybody else see the head beating he got from Simpson during Vardys record breaking goal celebration on Saturday. Kept smacking him in the head. Looked to walk away a little ruffled. Yeah, but Fuchs later denied it happened. Got to keep the boots Danny got him too.
Mr gregs Posted 3 December 2015 Posted 3 December 2015 When he was signed I thought def type player take us too next level , cl experience 70 plus Austrian caps, shalke no mugs, glad its working out for him as Nigel signed him!

He is such good quality, its unreal.... But the very best sportsmen in competitive team sport tend to be disproportionately left-footed/handed exactly because it's more uncommon so people aren't as used to dealing with it.A hell of a lot, maybe even the majority, of the absolute top footballers of all-time were left-footed and a hell of a lot, maybe even the majority of the absolute top test batsmen of all-time were left-handed. I was just trying to think of the best full-backs in the world or ever and the large majority of ones which came to my head were left-backs (or a left-footed one who's played at both positions in the case of Lahm).
MPH Posted 3 December 2015 Posted 3 December 2015 Well, that's what I meant by "being pricey". and thats what i meant by ' hard to come by' ( for Leicester)

deep blue Posted 3 December 2015 Posted 3 December 2015 The big question of course is how many of those would come to Leicester City on a wage that we would be willing to pay?[/quote] What makes you think that our owners won't be prepared to stump up a huge wage if they thought it was justifiable in terms of their ambition?

TheUltimateWinner Posted 3 December 2015 Posted 3 December 2015 Honestly think we've got one of the best left backs in the league
filbertstreet Posted 3 December 2015 Posted 3 December 2015 Honestly think we've got one of the best left backs in the league shame he's on loan to qpr

Izzy Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Some on the match day thread suggesting he didn't have his best game today. I thought he played pretty well and made a great tackle in the second half to deny them. We've had a right result in signing him and he's one of many leaders in our team. #cleansheetarmy
desertfox2 Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 How many better left backs are there in the prem?
AKCJ Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Gave away some daft fouls but you can tell he's a captain. His left foot is absolute magic.
