N'golo Kante - Medical passed according to Radio Leicester

I’m not ITK at all, but I’m fairly sure that if I diligently researched twitter and the wider internet, regurgitated gossip as fact and put vague statements out there: “could, might, this may happen etc.” – I’m pretty sure I could be right a good percentage of the time.

I might even be right consistently enough to build up a following on twitter to an extent that, when I am wrong, people would say: “yes, but he was right about … and he was right about ….” I wouldn’t lose my reputation.

But I can’t be arsed and I don’t need the attention.

Having said all that - Has anyone got any information on this one?

SM Caen midfielder N’Golo Kanté signed a four-year contract with Premier League side Leicester City on Thursday, according to France Football.

The 24-year-old reportedly landed at the King Power Stadium after the two clubs agreed a £5.6million transfer fee.

About to join Olympique Marseille earlier this month, the Paris-born of Malian descent was also strongly linked with fellow Ligue 1 outfit Olympique Lyonnais as well as Leicester’s domestic rivals Arsenal and West Ham United.

If the move is confirmed, which the Foxes have yet to do, Kanté will be Claudio Ranieri’s first signing since the Italian manager replaced Nigel Pearson on the bench of Leicester.

The midfield powerhouse enjoyed a successful campaign with Caen last term, scoring two goals and providing two assists in 37 league appearances.

I read that article this morning. It contradicts itself somewhat. He's signed a 4 year deal but we're waiting to confirm it?
