Guest Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Look out for Sunday's Sun headline. Hopper - My Night Of Same. Just speculating. I miss the joke.
C-man Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Well done City. Very well handled and the correct decision. Shouldn't imagine NP had much of a say so shouldn't hurt his relationship with his son, not that that's the most important thing here...
South Shire Fox Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 They should of been released beforehand anyway. Clearly arent good enough for the first team so whats the point in keeping them on the books.
Dan Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Can have only themselves to blame for being so stupid. Take the point that if it was three more senior players there'd not be as many calling for sackings but that's the fickle nature of football for you.
stripeyfox Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Yeah, hard to argue anything different really. Good riddance
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Good. Simpson next and a clean slate for next season, please.
rico Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 With their wages off the bill, will lessen the load a little to meet Sakos demands
desertfox2 Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Right decision, handled in the right way and with class. Turns a negative into a positive as the club look good by doing the right thing. Still can't believe anyone could be so stupid to film it, that alone deserved a don't come Monday.
davieG Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 I miss the joke. Wasn't meant to be funny but so many 'celeb' types end up selling their stories for a one off big pay day before settling back into obscurity. Papers like the sun can be very persuasive.
GaelicFox Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Proud to be a supporter tonight , to the fools that argued a defence of this behaviour I say to you thank god the club has a moral back bone
Blanesta Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 yeah man nobody who plays for leicester city fc should have sex IMHO That's a strange opinion to have, but if that's how you feel. The club have obviously found out a few more details about the situation to determine the fate of all the players involved. You may feel this is harsh on the non racist complicit players, but you also think leicester players shouldn't have sex, and we all know that's a silly opinion.
MPH Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 They'll probably be a water-tight good behavior clause written into all new contracts. ...
ramboacdc Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 good riddance. wouldn't like to be a fly on the wall in the pearson household tonight!
hackneyfox Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 They'll probably be a water-tight good behavior clause written into all new contracts. ... That and some social media training. Unfortunately common sense can't be learnt.
JAPANFOX1 Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Great news, well done LCFC, 100% the right decision.
HitchinFox Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Any decision like this would not – and should not – be taken lightly by the club so I think credit should be given to LCFC and the way the club has handled it.What is encouraging is that this outcome had already been called for by the vast majority of fans. As for the three players – if they are good enough they will bounce back somewhere else. If they have any sense, they will put this episode down as a valuable and harsh lesson. The lesson being: "What happens on tour, stays on tour. Unless you record it and send it to your mates, you absolute feken numpties."
johnny the fox Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Bitter pill for Nigel to swallow... but there was no way of spinning this... Thank god our club have done the right thing, nobody wins, just degrees of losing.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Tough for Pearson but I don't have too much sympathy seeing as James shouldn't have been at the club in the first place. It was never a footballing decision. The right outcome though. In my opinion shouldn't have taken this long but at least it's done with now and all involved can move on. In a perverse way the only one of the three we'll probably ever hear anything of ever again is Hopper who was without question the worst culprit in all of this!
katieakita Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Sad events but all old enough to take responsibility for their actions. The club have handled this awkward situation in the usual professional way they go about their business, hope the lesson is taken onboard by all young professional footballers.
Jattdogg Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Well done lcfc. Maybe they will get a chance in the scottish lower leagues
