If they'd been in their hols then they might have just about got away with it but to do it on a club goodwill trip, paid for by the owners is massively disrespectful and unforgivable. I hope it has already dawned on them what that could mean for their future career - I doubt anyone of them will ever come close to playing for or training with a Premier League outfit again. Having said that, despite their utterly imbecile behaviour in Thailand, I still wish them well and that they may find peace and comfort at a lower-level outfit that is forgiving enough and lets them chase after whatever sportive dream there is left.

I actually think the club should be commended on the way it's handled this. If anything I think the club come out of it pretty well.

Maybe parting ways for a while is for the best for both parties. I just hope it won't strain their relationship. Could be that it'll add a little much-needed friction, who knows?
