AC Milan away 04/05 with Kaka 22 on the back. As you can imagine, I got the dog's abuse the night of the Champions League final.  :nigel:

Had a massive soft spot for that AC Milan team. The best team in Europe from 2002-2007.

I got an Hibernian (the Maltese team) shirt back in about 1994 when I was on holiday there. Still got it knocking around somewhere.

EDIT: And for those with good memories, yes that is the team that tried to sign Ched Evans last year!

I'm sure I'm not alone in suffering the pain of being bought non-Leicester shirts as a kid as a results of the parents spotting a bargain. For some reason my parents answered my calls for a shirt by buying a 93/94 Newcastle kit, 95/96 Leeds kit followed by a 98/99 Norwich kit. Had to get a bloody paper round to buy a City kit.

Off my own back I have the 2012 Brazil shirt to annoy my German friend (backfired spectacularly) and an AEK Athens shirt I picked up bored in an airport on a work trip.

As I have no family who support LCFC growing up I had no affinity for them. So I had the Liverpool 'Crown Paints' top ~1986, also I was a goalie and loved Shilton so had the grey England goalie top with shoulder pads from Mexico 86!

Apart from United shirts (my old man was a United fan and I supported them until I was sentient enough to support my local team, aged about 8) I had this Ajax shirt and wore it for years, as it was so big when I first got it.

My old man is a veteran of the Royal Artillery and was lucky enough to play the Italian national anthem alongside his colleagues at the San Siro.... He brought back an Inter Milan strip with him although it was a long time ago now so of course doesn't fit.

My folks weren't stupidly mad about football and even though my dad took me to Filbo when I was seven, I too was in the Liverpool camp from a young age and had the Hitachi shirt among others. Rush and Grobbelaar were early heroes.

It was only by going regularly over a period of years that I fell in love with LCFC and my early dabble with Liverpool drifted away.

I'd love to say I was one of us from birth but I wasn't. There was no parental brainwashing towards my local club. I was addicted organically to LCFC.
