Merging Cultures Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Great, whatever. Who's the 'younger coach' then, thats the important bit. My guess would be Lennon or Cambiasso.
Stevosevic Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 He's Estaban Cambiasso?? Doesn't want to coach yet according to his brother.
Ricey Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 What's the point? We have a Director of Football. We need a Manager. If he's not coaching, not picking the team, not dealing with transfers, what exactly would he be doing?
Babylon Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 The article they mention is pretty much the same as the one that came out originally.
Ric Flair Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 I actually think Mandaric was more clued up on how to appoint a manager than these prats.
Grey Fox Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 What's the point? We have a Director of Football. We need a Manager. If he's not coaching, not picking the team, not dealing with transfers, what exactly would he be doing? Growing the King Power brand in Thailand
Stevosevic Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 This is a shambles, the club doesn't have a plan. We'll end up with an overpaid irrelevant 'consultant' and a poor young coach. Fully expect relegation next season.
Simi Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 I imagine our chain of command will look something like this in a month or so.
Stevosevic Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 If they f**k this appointment up and we do down, the fans have every right to turn on the owners.
Simi Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Like the Mercury is a reliable source. The Mercury isn't the source.

Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Bloody hell, just sign a manager or a head coach like every other team in the world! A bloke who picks the team, oversees the training and all that bullshit. We don't need a supervisor. What the **** is this new position, a bloke who gets paid hundreds of thousands to have no responsibility? This isn't looking good at all
The Doctor Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 for ****s sake. So, we'll appoint a supervisor to a manager we don't have, in a role doing what exactly? A week in and this is looking more and more like an utter shambles.
Kitchandro Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 If they f**k this appointment up and we do down, the fans have every right to turn on the owners. It has all the hallmarks of typical Leicester City. Have a short spell of success and the club is in a strong position. Make a hideous managerial appointment and it sends us back to square one. See Frank McLintock, Peter Taylor, Paulo Sousa. LCFC: A history of fvcking things up.
Callabinho Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 It would be ****ing pointless. He'd more than likely leave after a few months.

Pretty harsh to blame him, isn't it?
lgfualol Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING Do they want Hiddink just because he was the Korea coach that one time they paid to get into the semi finals? I feel like in a few seasons time the club is just going to be Asia King Power Ltd FM
teblin Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Kevin Philips is clearly going to be the coach Was thinking the same to be honest.

If he's not coaching, not picking the team, not dealing with transfers, what exactly would he be doing? Well, according to the article, he'll be 'raising prestige around the world'. Which is exactly what you need on a cold November night at Stoke.
