Soar Fox Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Used to love Philip Cocu when he played for Barcelona, didn't he get sent off for them down here when they came down in 2003 for a friendly. Anyway doubt he'd come to us didn't PSV win their league last season pretty well? Would be very happy if we appointed him.
cc_star Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 All jokes aside - Bob Bradley ffs, what's he ever achieved outside of the US? Currently managing in the ever prestigious Norwegian Premier League. The decision to sack Pearson grows ever more ludicrous by the day. Sum total of feck all Get some US guys on board, grow King Power brand there How do you go from US 3rd tier to coaching in the PL? How do you go from Norwegian league, from USA League's to managing in PL? Are they just puppets and Top will be interfering? Whatever, they've seriously underestimated how tough this is going to be, unless you've got serious man-management credentials Woeful, abject sh1t!
I'mPlastic Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 I'm claiming that big was basically went into see top and told him who the next coach will be!
J.Lisemore Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Honestly? We saw this coming, this is all going to end in fvcking failure. Odds on us to be relegated will crumble if we appoint this joker. On the other hand, if by miracle we do appoint Phillip Cocu, then all is good.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Cocu is more like it... not a 3rd tier coach from the minor leagues
TheUltimateWinner Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 I wasn't expecting much. I wasn't expecting Klopp. I gave the owners a tiny bit of hope and respect after they made a very questionable decision by sacking Pearson. Yet, it seems they've literally ****ed me over in a way no woman could ever do. If this guy and Bradley are appointed, i'll need sectioning.
cc_star Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Bradley and Preki That 31% win percentage will have Cambiasso & Kante fighting to sign on the line Jesus Christ! Klinsmann, I could understand... But this shambles? Fvck! That's a bit unfair. That's Bradley's worst win ratio and added to drawers that season, would have got us 48 points from 35 games! More than enough to keep us up. His win ratio everywhere else has been very good and his work in Norway has been exceptional. I think Bradley is a decent shout to be honest. Because MLS & nothing elsewhere is exactly like PL, EXACTLY!
PrekiEFC Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 That wouldn't be a problem if he had a half decent record as manager Sacked in usa lower leagues is the equilivant of a premier league team appoint a shit conference manager Those 2 jobs are a tall order for anyone, i know what you mean, when these bizarre things happen in football, it normally is when a club is being built solely by the owners, i think you'll be ok tbh, i'm an Everton fan its come in with our news, thought i'd just share what i thought. Very good player btw, technical!
Jordan Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 That's a bit unfair. That's Bradley's worst win ratio and added to drawers that season, would have got us 48 points from 35 games! More than enough to keep us up. His win ratio everywhere else has been very good and his work in Norway has been exceptional. I think Bradley is a decent shout to be honest. MLS is notorious for how much parity it has between teams during the regular season. Furthermore, Bradley took over Chivas USA after their absolute shitshow of an inaugural season and did so well to get that 31% win percentage that he was named MLS Coach of the Year. This helped improve his already-high reputation as a coach in the USA to the point where he stepped in to take an interim role managing the national team, which he turned into a permanent gig.Fans can say what they will about where Bradley has managed and whether or not that experience is relevant in the Premier League, sure. But nobody can deny that he was a very successful manager in MLS.
My Nads Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 It's times like these I really envy the plastic bandwagon fans!
Gerard Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 At 57 and untried at the better European level I can't see it being Bradley.

thybluefox Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Can someone give me a run down of what's actually happened this evening - without me ready through 53 pages?
Guest MattP Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 I just can't do anything but laugh anymore What an absolute farce, just put yourself in charge and we can at least have some fun with it. (Although I imagine some will still ask us to wait and see if he does a good job)
jsa Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 U.S. legend 'Preki' Radosavljevic leaves Sacramento for job in UK Sacramento, which plays in the third tier of American soccer in the USL, said on Wednesday that Preki had "accepted a position in the United Kingdom" Leicester is the only club in England's top four divisions currently with a head coaching vacancy. Preki's new job will be his first coaching appointment outside of the U.S., and comes as a surprise since he has not coached in Major League Soccer since 2010. If hired by Leicester, he would be the first American to coach in the Premier League.

Danizen Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Can someone give me a run down of what's actually happened this evening - without me ready through 53 pages? Some guy who may or may not be Premier made a funny face in a press conference and loads of people have changed their profile pic. That's the most sense I can make of it.
Vlad the Fox Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Can someone give me a run down of what's actually happened this evening - without me ready through 53 pages? Imagine someone drops their guts in a room and everyone runs around in panic and disgust going for the doors and windows, jumpers pulled over heads and much gasping and gagging. Then the smell recedes and everyone comes back in the room for a good old laugh about it only for someone to drop another stinker and previous panic ensues.
