ozleicester Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Blatantly trying to clear it if he was even aware the ball was in play. 07/08 - to 14/15 That squad, that pitch... worlds apart. Remember this time young folk, its a golden age
Sampson Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Arnar Gunnlaugson was great !! He really, really wasn't.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Remember Diomansy Kamara? Christ he was doggo He wasn't too bad. I remember his first game and he looked like an Senegalese Ronaldo.
gregdj Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Can't be bothered to read all this thread, but I can't believe Paul Reid was mentioned in the OP! Has anybody mentioned Norman Leet?
Suffolk exile Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 He really, really wasn't. He really, really, really wasn't!
Izzy Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Can't be bothered to read all this thread, but I can't believe Paul Reid was mentioned in the OP! Has anybody mentioned Norman Leet? Reidy!.. Reidy!.. Reidy!..
Ross-Kemp Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Kevin Pressman Michael Lamey Lee Marshall Robbie Neilson Nils-Eric Johansson Collins John Junior Lewis Harry Worley Roman Bednar Mark De Vries Elvis Hammond
Guest Mee-9 Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Zigazig Ah. Is he the new thai striker from the academy?
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 A list of my worst 10, all from the 2000s! Junior Lewis Josh Low Chris Makin Momo Sylla Peter Gilbert Jason Jarrett Geoff Horsfield Barry Hayles Alan Rogers Craig Hignett Countless others could have gone on there too
Max Power Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Utterly baffling that Josh Low made a living as a professional footballer.
Carl the Llama Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Anybody mentioned the iteration of Harry Kane that turned out for us? Now that was a young striker going nowhere in his career if ever I saw one, still completely baffled by last season's antics.
Suffolk exile Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 A list of my worst 10, all from the 2000s! Junior Lewis Josh Low Chris Makin Momo Sylla Peter Gilbert Jason Jarrett Geoff Horsfield Barry Hayles Alan Rogers Craig Hignett Countless others could have gone on there too You really need to go back and have a look at the names of those players who played during this period. So many I have completely forgotten, and some I have clearly repressed! Definitely gives you some perspective as to what we have to 'complain' about now.......We have come a very long way!
RobHawk Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 I remember Peter Taylor bought Kevin Ellison! Made a career in League 2 and clearly found his level, but why we bought him as a prem team i'll never know.
pleatout Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Some of us are trying to forget some of us HAD forgotten until you brought it up.
pleatout Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Can't be bothered to read all this thread, but I can't believe Paul Reid was mentioned in the OP! Has anybody mentioned Norman Leet? Oi, leave it. I will not have the Leetmeister's name taken in vain
Lcfc_1995 Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Michael Lamey Ricardo Robbie Nelison Matt Mills Marc Edworthy Mark De Vires Ryan Mcgivern Roman Bednar The two Hungarians Ian Holloway signed.
pleatout Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Rab Douglas, then remarkably Conrad Logan who seemed to be a carbon copy, including the bulk for a good while. Kalac and dodgy hodgy were other appalling custodians for a once great goalkeeping dynasty. But you have forgotten Mark Grew - nuff said.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 who were those Argentinian lads ollie signed?
TonyN11 Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Junior Lewis - definately first on the team sheet. Looking at some of the other names mentioned, I'd forgotten that they ever played for Leicester! I'm obviously still in denial that they ever did...
surrifox Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 For some reason Platnauer , Spearing and the two kids that MON kept selecting as he was the only person connected with the club who hadn't realised they couldn't play the game Wilson? Campbell?) really stick out in my memory . That however does a disservice to the following roll of honour: Curtis Lammie Robertson Colin Gordon Guy Branston Mohan Rolling alan Paris Whitbread Edworthy Worley
surrifox Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 who were those Argentinian lads ollie signed? weren't they Hungarian?
