Albert Posted 24 July 2015 Posted 24 July 2015 It's quite sad to see the joy some people have on here when info that's passed on turns out to be wrong and the poster is automatically called a fake. Querty's had some unnecessary stick this week and Berts had plenty in the past! I get info all the time from talking to the players and a few people at the club which I'll share with everyone if it's appropriate to do so. If I posted some info on one day and for whatever reason the situation changes at the club and doesn't actually happen fingers would be pointed saying I was wrong when really all I was doing was passing the info on I had at that time. For example the interview I was told about where I didn't mention the name was scheduled to be with Neil Lennon but because Ranieri came into the picture it didn't happen.

And this is exactly what I said would happen when you start banning people who share information that then changes... Other ITKs won't want to share stuff...

I do agree that banning people who claim to have any info is not the right way to approach it, but in this case you can see why Mark got annoyed and wanted to stop qwerty pulling the wool over people's eyes. That's not to say I think qwerty was necessarily misleading people, as I'd like to think it was genuine info that changed due to circumstances. However, maybe when this happens an announcement should be made to make it clear that these people are possibly not to be trusted, rather than banning them? ...but to answer the question, Bert was always the go-to-guy, but it has since passed to ramadaone and Albert as consistent, reliable sources.
