Charles Aranguiz

The above link is about Inler, but I have posted it here because it says a lot about what happened to Kante and the situation Aranguiz is now facing.

Leicester are now a team that outmuscles others. Love it!

Erm, Aranguiz isn't even mentioned?

He's using it as an example to people who keep saying "he doesn't want to come here", that we're working a certain angle to try and get in players. People need to get their heads around the fact that whilst we may not be his first choice (clearly), it's quite likely he won't pass up an opportunity of a bigger league, better shop window and a nice pay rise.

Our tactic needs Inter to play ball though, along with Bayer not stumping up the cash, just as the president of Caen did and Marseille didn't. He said you're either going Leicester or staying, we left our offer on the table and in the end he arrived. He might be mildly annoyed, but that's probably about it. Once they see the set up and the owners ambition, they will probably realise it's a pretty decent project going on here as well.

Says so much about how things have gone so wrong with football, between BL and the one agent they have approached Aranguiz to sound out a possible move and he had in his mind a switch to Germany and CL football and the chance to put him in the shop window for a bigger move. however BL do not want to pay the going rate for him, his position is pretty much untenable at Inter and they and the other agent want to recoup as much money as possible and have accepted the much larger bid from us.

Inter are doing what is best for them and trying to obtain the maximum for him, If BL really wanted him they would match our bid and at some stage he will speak to the other agent who favours the move to us. Perhaps a reality check is needed by him, if he is as good as he thinks he is why have none of the "bigger clubs" come in for him? If he is as good as he thinks he can come here shine and showcase his talents to a global audience. Win.win.

The bottom line is clubs need to have more power than greedy agents.

So, today will be another day of 'jokes' related to this and nothing official happening?

Today's task is to get this thread up to 100 pages. Reading the first 98 pages, chances of any official news today are zero.

If his advisors want the best money (long term) then joining us just isn't viable. The chance of Champions League football and the shop window that provides is something you'll never get here, join us and become embroiled in a potential relegation battle, or at best a season on finishing 1 point better off than last, adds nothing to his reputation or career tragectory. Take less now for more later.

Did Cambiasso add to his reputation or detract from it.

Or he showcases himself in the most competitive league in the world and one of the big 4 sign him in a couple of years.

If you play well in the premier league, you get noticed. Doesn't matter where your team finishes.

Clearly champions league teams don't have that much cash anyway out of England... otherwise they would stump up the fee and better wages.
