ronnup Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Why do we need another wide man ?? Albrighton, Schlupp, Mahrez, De Laet (even Vardy at a push) is enough, isn't it ?? But what if we want to change our formation. De Laet and Schlup aren't too class wingers.
Babylon Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Why do we need another wide man ?? Albrighton, Schlupp, Mahrez, De Laet (even Vardy at a push) is enough, isn't it ??Because two of them aren't wingers!
Swiper Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 But what if we want to change our formation. De Laet and Schlup aren't too class wingers. While not preferable, Nugent and Okazaki can both play on the wing as well. Still would like to see a signing there this week but it's not as dire a situation as it's being made out to be.
Dan Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Surely this isn't happening?! Get him in and all of a sudden my optimism shoots up.
Harry - LCFC Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Few tweets saying this deal is 'very close'. From who? I've not seen these, interested to know if they're reliable or not.
Spudulike Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Because two of them aren't wingers! I didn't say they were wingers
Itsthejoeker Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Surely this isn't happening?! Get him in and all of a sudden my optimism shoots up. "Optimism"
EverybodyDannsNow Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Why did he only play 11 games last season? Was he injured?
Babylon Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 I didn't say they were wingers There is your answer as to why we need a wide man then... We don't have enough!
VLC86 Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Why did he only play 11 games last season? Was he injured? Too good for the league, made everyone else look shit.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Why did he only play 11 games last season? Was he injured?Too excited as he already knew Leicester would be bidding for him this pre-season I had heard
MC Prussian Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Why did he only play 11 games last season? Was he injured? He played 19 league games and featured in a total of eleven Europa League games for SSC Napoli. Sometimes, I wish people would consult the internet more thoroughly in the search of stats.

Harry - LCFC Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 I've not been concentrating on this rumour much, but have we not already been told that he personally rejected us? Has something changed or have I got it wrong?
Stevosevic Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 http://www.turkish-football.com/leicester-close-to-completing-e4-5-million-move-for-napoli-star-gokhan-inler/? turkey say yes.. Leicester City are close to completing the transfer of Gokhan Inler from Napoli according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. The report states that The Foxes have agreed a €4.5 million transfer fee with Napoli and are close to agreeing personal terms with the experienced midfielder. Leicester have offered Inler a three-year deal at €2 million per season. Leicester’s newly appointed manager Claudio Ranieri revealed earlier this week that he was close to securing a replacement for Esteban Cambiasso. The Argentinian international recently confirmed that he will leave Leicester according to the BBC. The former Inter Milan player released a statement saying that he will not renew his current deal with the Foxes. Inler scored one goal in 33 appearances for Napoli in all competitions last season. Leicester pulled off the ‘great-escape’ last season to beat the drop. The foxes ended the season in 14th place with 41 points.
matty98 Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 I've not been concentrating on this rumour much, but have we not already been told that he personally rejected us? Has something changed or have I got it wrong? yeh he heard we'd signed the next makelele so he wanted to play along side him
Stevosevic Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Did he not say he didn't want to come to us? No quotes. Press said he wanted Fiorentina
Fox 4 Life Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 This would be a huge signing and negate the loss of Cambiasso completely. Inler and Kante in the middle would add some much needed steel to our midfield. Exciting times
Riot Van Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Fuchs Albrighton and Schlupp plus Mahrez if required should be plenty enough Why do we need another wide man ?? Albrighton, Schlupp, Mahrez, De Laet (even Vardy at a push) is enough, isn't it ?? Well you would only really argue that Albrighton, Schlupp and Mahrez are 'wingers' and thats not really enough should we have a need to change the system to a 4-4-2 for example. An extra winger would give really good depth imo.
ScouseFox Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 anyone else think if we sign him we could get top 4?
