limeydale Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Thought Kane's goal was sublime and Sanchez' equalizer ordered by the gods.
RobHawk Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Will be good to see Newcastle and villa go down, both teams have fans who are far too entitled and owners who don't belong in the game!
EastAnglianFox Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Shearer almost in tears about Newcastle... Proper looked like he was about to go, a big gulp to stop his voice going too!
separator Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Shearer's as confused as I am as to why McClaren was given a place on the board of directors at NUFC. Has to make getting rid of him more difficult / expensive.
lgfualol Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 They'll get rid of McClaren and we'll lose to their new manager. It better not be NP, you'll have people on here hoping newcastle win.
ithuriel Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Ashley wont sack him, not during the season, he did not sack their previous manager during the season and he was just as clueless.
StanSP Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 yeah no way he's going anywhere. will be too costly for Ashley to sack him so soon.
ScouseFox Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Ashley wont sack him, not during the season, he did not sack their previous manager during the season and he was just as clueless. an when one left last year he couldn't even be arsed appointing a new manager
englebert Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Proper looked like he was about to go, a big gulp to stop his voice going too! I think he was trying to hold back the rage rather than tears. Think he's genuinely mad as hell.
Freesolo Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 How the hell did Everton lose that game to West ham? should have be 4 nil up with 10 men
Sionnach gorm Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 They'll get rid of McClaren and we'll lose to their new manager. It better not be NP, you'll have people on here hoping newcastle win. If that happened I'd suggest drawn and quartering the offenders.
SecretPro Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Shearer confirming he wants Leicester to win the league was nice.
ARM1968 Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 It would happen though. Bellends. Thankfully McLaren will see them safely relegated. Agree about Shearer. Don't think it was tears, just a boiling Geordie rage - and justified.
AjcW Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 I think he was trying to hold back the rage rather than tears. Think he's genuinely mad as hell.Definitely full on rage including a dig at Taylor which is something he's never done and probably hurt as he was one of the Geordie kids coming through when sheared played
Spiritwalker Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Interesting to see the analysis of how Watford set up to stifle Mahrez. I didn't notice this myself during the game.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Nice feature on DD. Good hes getting the recognition he deserves. An England call up can't be far away surely?
Bluetintedspecs Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 An England call up can't be far away surely? Exactly Bob , and if Woy doesn't see that he's got Cock rel tinted specs.
StanSP Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Interesting to see the analysis of how Watford set up to stifle Mahrez. I didn't notice this myself during the game. you notice it but what you also notice is our ability to overcome it. Slight tactical formations like allowing Mahrez license to cut inside. Putting an extra man in the middle of the pitch (King) to allow Mahrez a bit more space when he was on the wing. Using Schlupp as a better outlet than Albrighton so it gives Watford something else to think about.
foxinsox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Vardy and Mahrez are heavily marked, but it does create space for others like Drinky and King to score. We could do with being a bit better at setpieces though, both attacking and defending.

StanSP Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Defensive? Yeah our defensive record is terrible lately, how many did we concede again yesterday? i think he means better at defending set-pieces, which I think is odd anyway because before this season teams were almost guaranteed to score against us from corners or free-kicks. these days we're much more solid. Can't remember the last goal we conceded from a set-piece before Gardner for WBA.

StanSP Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Welbeck against arsenal. had erased that from my memory
Jacnah Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Lets hope McLaren hangs on another week. Please! Yes please!!
