foxes_rule1978 Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 I can see why he was being sounded out has the next Makelele
DennisNedry Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Agreed. And Dyer. And Drinkwater should keep his place, not Inler.
lgfualol Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Got to happen. He's just so ****ing good. Glad we got him over Veretout.
wokinghamfox Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Totally. Kante turned the game in our favour when he came on.
Jakemoore Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Definitely. This guy typifies Leicester. Bags of pace, and bags of spirit with enough quality to be a real hit. He was very composed from the minute he came on today.
TrentFox Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Probably alcohol-induced, but I love this boy.
Finnaldo Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Drinkwater and Kante in the midfield for Stoke please. They've had a torrid start so let's get going out the gates and have them. 14 points for 6 games would be an unbelievable start.
desertfox2 Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Has the potential to end up at a real madrid or barca. Has to start.
RowlattsFox Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Just enjoys tackling, brilliant hassling lead to the penalty shout before the first goal.
adamkhalifa Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Super player. This guy needs to play in the middle and should be first choice start.
Ozwin Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 What is his actual position? He takes up about 3 of the 4 midfield positions, he's incredible.
ScouseFox Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 he was amazing at bury and amazing again today and apparently pretty good at bournemouth too. amazed he didn't start today but i guess ranieri wanted to shoehorn inler in somewhere and drinky wasn't getting dropped. and still shouldn't be. dont think he'll drop inler though.
Jakemoore Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 What is his actual position? He takes up about 3 of the 4 midfield positions, he's incredible.This. He seems to just play where ever he likes. He's a great impact player. Not sure how disciplined he will be if we ask him to sit and hold.
Captain... Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Kante makes a difference when we need energy and drive, but I do think he has a weakness in his game, which is his positional sense. That is why Ranier tried him in a midfield 3 at Bouremouth. If we have too many players chasing we will lose shape.
99.1% BLUE Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Long been a lurker on foxestalk, 5-6 years (under different user names) but kantes performance today single handedly has bought me from the shadows...what a performance today, love the little fellow... ! His break up play is exceptional..!
FireFox Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Could we play 1 in midfield now? Classic 4-1-3-2 formation with pacy fullbacks, Mahrez in the hole, and Albrighton back on the right.

roblcfc84 Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Kante was excellent. So much pace and drive, and a good jump for his height. Agree changed the game.

Wasn't that his first start and he got dropped at half time, not Drinkwater, for Kanté, so after seeing the impact that made why would he mix it up again rather than continue?

Singha Beer Is Good! Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Kante was great today, totally changed the game...he should start the next match, but will Ranieri drop Inler? I don't suppose either came to sit on the bench but then we paid £9m for Kramaric and that's what he's doing! It will be very interesting to see how Ranieri keeps all the squad happy when they aren't playing.
