Why do people suggest a new centre back?? We haven't been able to shift the huth Morgan partnership and I actually really rate benny but the club captain won't be budged lol

If we were to make top six by the end we have to do the following IMO:

Retain our best players.

Sign a younger and quicker centre back. Someone who is still quality, but younger.

Sign a better right back

And sign a top striker, in case Vardy gets injured.

Thirty million should do it... lol

Sign those players and we would be superb.

Priority for me is a top quality partner for Vardy, a pity Heskey isn't 15 years younger.

A right back.

A centre half.

 

We are still capable in all those positions so it has to be top notch or not at all. If we're still flying high in January maybe we could attract a better quality player? I think Charles Aranguiz would have considered us if he was still in Brazil at Internacional and not injured.

 

The second priority of players would be:

 

A winger

GK

Another centre half

 

I don't want us to go mad though and bring in more than two players. If we can get real quality in then let's do it but a slight upgrade then don't bother.

Yes, real quality now whilst our stock is high.   I've been banging on about Austin for ages but maybe we ought to set the bar higher ! ...   We are 5th in the Prem FFS !

 

Clear out the chaff and buy big.

 

(But if any GK's or RB's or CB's or wingers are reading this, please don't leave now cus we are only messing !).

I'd take Tripper on load if available, and does anybody think Pato would be a great signing, albeit he would probably demand a high wage, he would he a great partnership with Vardy! He's looking to get his career back on track aswell, joining us would be perfect for him

 

Isn't he practically made of glass? Thought he had homesickness issues while over in Italy as well.

I've not seen him play but a player we've been linked with is Breel Embolo.

 

Still only 18 but 6,1", quick and valued at £20m. We could be an option as he would easily get in our team as the No 10.

People keep saying get a top, proven striker as back up but (Austin aside) who is there that we would get in January AND would be happy as back up to the leagues top scorer?  The unproven one we have is unhappy.   I still think Shinji and Kram will come good, the same with Inler

 

I doubt that he's for sale and want to leave as he has Champions league football but Bas Dost at Wolfsburg is a quality player. 

 

An upgrade on simpson is needed but for now he's doing the job, a high quality RB that will just focus on defending.  Maybe we need a quality defensive coach to teach them how to defend a corner.

A top notch N.o 10 and r back are equal priorities for me.

Hopefully we'll be almost safe in Jan and therefore more attractive

to quality players and with next seasons Prem money in the bag the

owners will be happy to shell out.

Top priority : keep our first team players

Then:

New RB Trippier

New GK Marshall (I love Kasper but he's become one of our weak links with regards to defending)

N. Dyer on a permanent deal

IF we go for a striker (I personally don't think we need another) I'd go for Benik Afobe- like others have said Austin doesn't suit our style

Someone who would suit vardy is a striker who is built like a brick shiit house that can hold up at a world level but is also fast.

Not confident he'd be a success here, whenever I've watched him he's lazy and doesn't track back at all.

 

Although saying that, he's got a very decent goal record and still only 26 lol

I know its just paper talk and there's nothing we can do about that. Stories will keep coming up whilst Vardy and Mahrez are doing the business. I have seen lots of stories today saying Liverpool want Vardy and Man u want Mahrez. 

 

Who thinks we can keep hold of both of them? 

 

My take both of them would be only the top 4 could afford to buy them from us. but i want sure if any of them would take the gamble. Looks like they might....
