Judge has always seemed decent but not quite at the level I'm hoping we're aspiring to.

I honestly cannot believe people say stuff like this, when we've got someone who was in the conference at 25 playing up front and ripping the league to bits.  How old were Guppy or Elliott when signed from lower leagues.

We really shouldn't be ruling any player out, no matter what league or how old. History has shown they can go on to be some of our best ever players.... So why not keep tabs on them.

Who was that number 10 from Argentina who ended up joining Villarreal?

How is he getting on there? A realistic option for us now?

lol

Austin scored 18 goals is a very poor and relegated team...

He's obviously better that Kramaric but I think our money could be better spent elsewhere.

Don't see how Austin would fit in here. He'd cost 15m and would probably just be a Leo upgrade, i.e. a big lad on the bench to help change the game.

He wouldn't come here and I don't think we'll be too bothered.

Seb Giovinco or Breel Embolo would be better suited for us.

Vietto.

Signed for Atletico Madrid in the summer.

He was absolutely sensational last season for them and now in Madrid, we missed a trick there.

lol

Thanks

I don't follow La Liga very closely, sounds like he's decent then  lol

EDIT: had a quick google and found this lol

Leicester City could boast Villarreal sensation Luciano Vietto on their books this season.

The Daily Mail says the 21-year-old was offered to Leicester City for £3.5m last summer but they were unsure about taking a gamble on a young forward from Racing Club who was untried in the English leagues.

He has scored six goals in his last six games and is now rated in the £12m bracket after helping propel Villarreal to fifth in La Liga.

Liverpool and Arsenal are now monitoring his situation.

That's why I was laughing, completely missed out on him.

£3.5m for someone who someone who scored 20 goals last season between Europe and La Liga.

Would have been one of our best ever sigings.

last night changed nothing we need a first choice GK and a RB.

We are five/six signings short of becoming a real force to be reckoned with so within the next two transfer windows I'd like to see us sign the following players (listed in priority order):

Striker (in January)

Right Back (in January)

Right Winger

Centre Back

Goalkeeper

Central Midfielder

RW and CM? I would have thought we've got the best depth there

I should have stated on the assumption Mahrez gets sold in the summer which I'm fairly sure will happen, and even if he doesn't I'd prefer to see him utilised in the hole between midfield and attack. As for the central midfielder I can see Inler being moved if he doesn't improve so we would need to strengthen there if that happens. I reckon we have our best depth down the left flank.

James coming back will be like a new signing, but agree a keeper, right back and striker. I have no idea who though, that kid from Munich in between be sticks maybe?

Goalkeeper, to back Kasper, not instead of.!!!

R.Back.

C.Back. Young one for backup. Looks like Liam Moore, with pers. Problems, is falling back on loan game time.

A star C.M.

No winger, but if Kram isnt considered the man, then another Striker.

Ulloa stays.

100 better posters. Oops to replace me 200..!!

One out of the three 1860 Munich goalkeepers?

Take your pick. :D

Striker. Right back.

If we're really looking to spend then gk and cb too

Posted

A quality striker as we would be in serious turd if JV gets injured. Kramaric is useless and Okazaki not much better. Also Goalkeeper is a major issue as the old man needs to be packed off to the care home ASAP.

Charlie Austin and a top RB should be enough although be good to get a decent keeper to push Kasper.

Shinj and Kram proving a bit too light weight so far, so signing Austin would give us another genuine goal threat.

Think he is set on a free transfer in the Summer though where he can get some more money for himself
