Gerard Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 As a 20 something in the 1990's I never thought I'd see the days when AC Milan loaned a Leicester reserve.
Larry_LCFC Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 Not particularly arsed by this at all. His pace of play seemed too slow for us. Think we have better options.
Len Finsbury Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 Look at us sending our reserve players to AC Milan! A good example of the progress the club is making in terms of stature.
Mark_w Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 A.C. Milan want to loan a player from Leicester. This is getting ridiculous.
Guest Col city fan Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 Good move for both parties. He's too slow for the Premiership and far better suited to the methodical build up play of Serie A
NewEnglandFox Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 This is the report. https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=it&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.calciomercato.com%2Fnews%2Fdall-inghilterra-milan-su-inler-941331 Nothing to this.
Thracian Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 Potential benefits all round if it comes off.
Master Fox Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 Good experience for him in a lower league, playing at a smaller less prestigious club than us. Hopefully he'll come back and make the step up playing at LCFC.
tylesta Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 Good move for both parties. He's too slow for the Premiership and far better suited to the methodical build up play of Serie A maybe they should sign cattermole to
MPH Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 Can't help but think he's bottled it, if this is true. instead of getting your head down and fighting your way into the side like Albrighton, Fuchs and Kante, he's took the easy route....
Nalis Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 As a 20 something in the 1990's I never thought I'd see the days when AC Milan loaned a Leicester reserve. Me neither!
Master Fox Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 He's never going to break into the team when we've probably go the two best central midfield players in the world right now.
Haydos Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 Whut? Is there any source for this other than this guy saying so?
lgfualol Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 Feel bad for him if true, although it isn't a bad move. Nobody expected DD and Kante to rule. Likeable guy.
ScouseFox Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 when james is fully fit he'll be our fifth choice centre mid, no big deal
Guest Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 I don't think you should feel bad if it is true. There's clearly a good team/work ethic at city right now and unfortunately if you don't buy into whatever it is then perhaps it's not the place for him right now
TJB-fox Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 Fair enough. Saw an interview with his agent in which he explained that inler fully accepted Ranieri's team decision, but as captain of Switzerland he has a duty to play ahead of euro 2016
sdb Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 Would rather we do this after the Xmas schedule...and when James is back fit.
Captain... Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 Fair play, best for both parties if it happens. I presume there wouldn't be a recall option but we have King and James in case of injuries. It doesn't mean he'll never play for us again and he has more chance of fighting his way into next years side playing for AC Milan. Are there any Milan players we want? We could do a swap in Jan.

De Sciglio would be great
Eastwellfox Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 Good move if we can get a recall clause put in the deal even if he is needed at a drop of a hat. He is simply not good enough to shift the current two.
MC Prussian Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 That's how you generate and/or fuel a rumour out of nothing. Take an agent who claims his client needs playing time ahead of the Euros (which is understandable, given Inler's position within the Switzerland national team) and could potentially return to Italy, add a list of potential suitors in said country, take away the least likable options and then sell the rest as a given fact. Don't you just love modern-day journalism?
Guest Col city fan Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 maybe they should sign cattermole to He was pretty superb last night I thought..
