goose2010 Posted 17 November 2015 Posted 17 November 2015 Concrete evidence apparently, hopefully just a precaution to call it off,
fuchsntf Posted 17 November 2015 Posted 17 November 2015 ive got two suitcases in my house. im out of here. Nice one....just spilt my coffee.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 17 November 2015 Posted 17 November 2015 I'd rather they call games off when there's obviously a security threat. Yeah fair enough we shouldn't let these people win, but surely the safety of the public matters more than anything.
Rincewind Posted 17 November 2015 Posted 17 November 2015 Don't they have security scanners that will see through suitcases? Serious question.
Craig Posted 17 November 2015 Posted 17 November 2015 Police in Hannover: 'There were concrete plans to bring about an explosion
Dr The Singh Posted 17 November 2015 Posted 17 November 2015 Must be pretty awkward for any Muslim going to a game tonight, shouldn't be but will be. Hope it's paranoia. Can you imagine in Europe being a Sikh with a turban, and then further for a Sikh with a turban going to a match!!!!!
Fox92 Posted 17 November 2015 Posted 17 November 2015 "UPDATE: German police say they received a tip off 15 minutes after gates to football stadium opened."
bovril Posted 17 November 2015 Posted 17 November 2015 Police in Hannover: 'There were concrete plans to bring about an explosion If I was at a match tonight I'd be twitchy. I think we're going to have to get used to it.
Bayfox Posted 17 November 2015 Posted 17 November 2015 Truck disguised as ambulance found full of explosives 1k from ground in hannover Guess we all know what the plan for that was.
sphericalfox Posted 17 November 2015 Posted 17 November 2015 Channel 4 reported an ambulance truck bomb was found. Not able to check myself other news reports etc
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 17 November 2015 Posted 17 November 2015 Pretty shocked the England game, in fact any games are going ahead tonight if there's a van full on explosives headed for the Germany v Spain game.
Rincewind Posted 17 November 2015 Posted 17 November 2015 There could be a lot of false threats also in the upcoming months leading up to the Euros. It will be disrupt and keep authorities about which is real. Calling off events is what they want. They said the Euros will go ahead so ISIS will do what they can to disrupt the plans.

I do agree, but it's no coincidence it's Germany again. ISIS said in their statement (or whatever you want to call it) after the attacks that they were the target too.
GaelicFox Posted 17 November 2015 Posted 17 November 2015 It's. bomb In an ambulance They found a bomb in a vehicle made to look like an ambulance Fecking hell !
Fox92 Posted 17 November 2015 Posted 17 November 2015 Another item found. A second stadium and a metro station both evacuated now too.
GaelicFox Posted 17 November 2015 Posted 17 November 2015 Hanover police chief is saying their plan was to get the "ambulance" inside the stadium This is beginning to feel like football is under attack ! Euro 2016 must be under serious review right now !
GaelicFox Posted 17 November 2015 Posted 17 November 2015 Another item found. A second stadium and a metro station both evacuated now too. Rock concert cancelled and emptied ! Wow it's a mirror image of Friday !
Lionator Posted 17 November 2015 Posted 17 November 2015 Rock concert cancelled and emptied ! Wow it's a mirror image of Friday ! Incorrect, the concert will go ahead as planned. Trawling through twitter, there's still a lot of inaccurate reporting and things get spread like wildfire. The police have actually not given out any statements.

Euro 2016 must be under serious review right now ! it's nothing to do with football, it's just where there's loads of people. stadiums, gig venues, underground stations. they're rammed, there's no easy way out and if you can get in them one hell of a lot of people are going to die
Rincewind Posted 17 November 2015 Posted 17 November 2015 They want retaliation ISIS are not an open enemy so air strikes will result in many innocent civilian casualties giving them cause just or not to play the victims. A hidden enemy who do not want to be seen is hard to defeat.
Guest MattP Posted 17 November 2015 Posted 17 November 2015 I think it's a myth ISIS want us to bomb them, no one wants to be bombed especially one who are losing territory like they are. The reason they are doing this to countries that have attacked them is to try and warn others off joining what eventually would be a grand coalition.
lgfualol Posted 17 November 2015 Posted 17 November 2015 I hope this stuff doesn't spread to my part of Germany. Though, I needn't worry, because you have to leave the house in order to be in danger.
