Quite easy i hear you say but heres the story

ive ben an avid fan since i was a young lad and went to most home and away games in the pleat, little, mcghee, oneill and taylor years then marraige and kids forced me to cut down .

as my kids have grown up ive tried to teach them about supporting your local team and being faithful and not a plastic fan of some big time club . so when xmas came around about 2003 i bought them a leicester shirt each and they seen a little wear here and there.

fast forward to a couple of years ago the lads are 15 and 17 , the younger one quite proudly walks around in his man utd and barcelona tops and the other lad in his 3 different arsenal kits and his real madrid top .

ive had stick for years from them both until the last few months and now a few weeks before xmas the converstion of what to get them comes up

BOTH  want leicester shirts for xams with vardy and mahrez on the back as the man utd lad has gone off them now and the arsenal lad has now decided he supports us the same as arsenal.

Im thinking cheeky little feckers i aint having you start being plastic leicester fans after all these years but the wife thinks its a great idea lol

your thoughts and have you been in the same position :)

it so reminds me of when blackburn won the title you started seeing a lot of blackburn shirts about down melton road lol

Buy them MK Dons shirts. And never speak to them again.

Your older one would look like an idiot wearing one of his Arsenal ones on Sunday and then a Leicester one on Monday.

You don't have a choice but to disown them I'm afraid. Supporting United or Arsenal is acceptable but not United AND Barcelona or Arsenal AND Real Madrid. They don't deserve to be Leicester fans and it is probably all your fault.

Disown, and don't have any more kids!

Personally I think you should do it, enjoy being able to share this good run with them and take it while it lasts. They obviously had a connection to Leicester all along but prefered a more mainstream team. Maybe after this they might stick with leicester.

Surely we'd all rather have more blue walking around then red?

Don't be tight..buy them full kits! Then they can be full kit w.....s

You get the gist...

play the David Henson song and ask them what they think of it... A positive reaction just be a prerequisite to getting them a Leicester shirt...

The sad thing is you are able to have more kids.

You failed they are plastic but the dangerous think is.

you and your boys will be allowed to vote and have a say what happens in this country

Be grateful that their rebellious stage was only buying Arsenal and Man U shirts.

THe current LCFC success has brought them back onto the straight and narrow road, your prodigal sons have returned back into the fold buy them the lcfc kit and make sure they never, despite the inevitable ups and downs waver again.

What they gonna do if we go back to being shit.

Sorry but it's just to late. You can change your family but not your team.

So the only answer is divorce and start again. This time try harder. My kids can decide not to like football if they choose but if they try to tell me they don't want to support Leicester they will be homeless.

By 15 I'm afraid you've made your choice and I think you should teach your kids to stick with who they already "support" (don't understand how you can have 2 or 3 teams). Say you get them a Leicester shirt and we finish 8th, they'll neither ever wear them again and that's £100 down the toilet

Do many people wear older season  shirts?

You have failed massively if your kids are not true Leicester supporters!

Makes me feel physically sick to think they are now following us just because we are doing well!!

What happens if we have a poor season next year, abandon us again??

15 and 17... If they were about 5 then fair enough, but no chance. Give them some stick and tell them to f^^k off.

What's the point in just supporting the team who's doing well that season, it defeats the whole point of supporting a football team.
