In answer to their question, no it hasn't. What a quality signing it would be, if true. I think that the fanbase would be absolutely buzzing.

This cant be a concrete rumour, if were interested thats one thing but getting him this month? No chance surely

We've "confirmed" safety this season already, so Ranieri might choose to spend a large portion of next year's transfer budget now. This would definitely underline the ambition of the owners and Ranieri!!

Porto don't need to sell, he starts every week etc. We would have to fork out a HUGE amount to prize him away. Porto aren't mugs, they'll know what they've got. You've got to be looking at £25+ million for this guy.

It's a very difficult window to buy in and to get the correct price for players but will we ever be in the top 2 halfway through the season again? Players will be attracted to us that ordinarily wouldn't be and if we can convince players to come and get us top 4 then we must go for it. The owners dreamt of this and this is our chance, maybe not our only ever chance but it's not something to take for granted. Let's go big.

I agree If we have to pay a bit extra to maybe get players we wouldn't normally be able to attract, then i think we should go for it. We could easily fall away this season, finish 9th, and we wouldn't be as an attractive proposition.
