Spurs (H) FA cup 3rd round replay 0-2 post match

Leo, Dyer and Albrighton worst of an average display for me.

Demarai and Chilwell played well but that side was always going to concede us a goal because of top level inexperience.

Inler as a CDM gravitates to the ball and just leaves so much space in the hole.

Provided some great crosses and almost set up a goal if Dyer hadn't have passed the ball back to their keeper, also almost scored himself all from Right Back.

I think he's massively underrated still.

Two great goals from spurs and they deserved the win,but CR really has got his tactics wrong tonight feel sorry for the Leicester fans paying good money in the freezing cold to watch that.

CR blind faith in Ulloa is a head scratcher Dyer not good enough and Sorry but Inler is not a fraction of the player I was expecting

Gray and Chilwell the only shining light tonight

Behave? If we come out of Saturday with anything I'll take that back. We have gone very negative. While we were attacking teams with speed and guile our possession stats hardly mattered. Now we've 'tightened' up it does matter. We will see I guess, but tonight didn't feel good.

The negativity here is absolutely astonishing. Some of you really don't know you are born. Yes, we lost. However there were positives to take, and looking at the big picture we are in a fantastic place right now.

We don't half miss Kante - Midfield was poor.

The game was won and lost in the midfield. Erikssen pulled all the strings, King was non existent for most of the game and I have no idea what Inler offers, except a few sideways passes.

It's easy to blame Ulloa.. He ain't good, but where was his supply? Dyer was horrendous, there was nothing for Ulloa to feed off at all. The only shining light was Gray..but he's young and needs to be playing in a side creating chances.

Thank God we've signed Kante. If we were relying on that midfield week-in, week-out we'd get battered.

Dyer and Ulloa didn't perform to my expectations tonight. Vardy came in too late and I think Okazaki for Inler would have been a better sub.

Chilwell and Gray were good and despite conceding twice I thought Benny was pretty good too.

I'm not worried as to be safe at this stage is far better than I would have thought at the start of season. Despite that being a very changed team I am starting to worry that the flare, speed and desire that got us to where we are is starting to fix out a little.

Stoke is going to be a very tough test but with Arsenal facing Chelsea I think we'll still be flirting with top place for a few weeks more at least.

I know Claudio has commented on the transfer business being finished but with Kramaric off on loan and Ulloa's lack of consistency I think an out and out striker that will provide another good source of goals is a must now.

Apart from Ulloa... Dyer and Inler never play so Ranieri does at least know... Amartey is coming in so that is good, need a striker though

I feel a bit like I did after we lost to Huddersfield in the cup the year we only just made the play-offs...

I think we do need to focus on the league this season as we have a real chance to get into the Champions League (still feels surreal saying that) BUT there are no excuses for playing shit - even if this is our reserve side mark II. Very disappointing.

Just hope this doesn't deject us though in a roundabout way for the run in... we don't need any negative thoughts moving forward.

That was shit. Leonardo howard up front on his own and set up to defend at home in a fa cup replay in front of a full house(after half an hour anyway). Fvks sake.

When he had the ball he was awful though. Remember when he tried to pass it to Dyer 15 yards in front of him and hit it about 40 yards out of play for a throw in. Man's a joke.

Who would you have played instead of Ulloa? Kramaric isn't here anymore and was never going to get a game anyway. We were resting Vardy and Mahrez. Okazaki harried a bit but never had a shot on goal. All this scapegoating is a bit crap tbh.

What people have to remember is that in both ties none of our outfield first teasers have played longer than 60 minutes. The cup was clearly not a priority. Add to the fact that we shouldn't even be playing this for the fact of an awful decision in the first leg.

Tonight in the first half we were poor but improved in the second half only to see our momentum killed off by the second goal.

We will start scoring more very surely I'm sure. Everybody just remain calm.

Trying to remain objective & level headed, and not getting too bothered as it's our second string in the cup, but.

Positives:

Ben Chilwell (just brilliant, naive mistake for their first goal not withstanding - this is his 3rd senior game - you'd never guess!)

Demarai Grey (still a lot to learn, but something completely different to add. Showed his youth on a couple of occasions, but I can forgive that for his endeavour)

Either of them mom for me.

Development areas:

Passing. Simple as

Learnings:

Our squad depth ain't as good as it should be

Dyer is simply out of his own depth

We look a bit "panicked" & playing with fear

Glad it's not 3 points dropped & I think we've learned a lot over the two games about our squad. Neither Inler nor Benalouane disgraced themselves; Albrighton clearly isn't a right back; Ulloa, still not proved himself this season (being diplomatic!!)

Need to regroup & recharge for Stoke & remember how we've played to get to our current position.

Please can people take a breath before any kneejerk or over reaction. I genuinely do not thimk this is a bad thing as our squad is a little bit thin on quality in comparison to the normal top 6 to 8 teams.

We need to move on and look to get back to winning ways on Saturday.

Chilwell looks decent. Is it just me that thinks gray is too greedy? No doubting he has talent but a few times tonight he tried too much when a simple pass was on. Maybe trying too hard to impress.

Decision making and vision will come I think. At this point it's like us taking Mahrez from LeHarve to the Prem. Think he just needs to adapt

Oh dear....

Spurs deserved that..... We never got going and never looked like getting anything from the game. Lacked authority or guile in mid-field and defence too static...... Nothing up front...

Let's hope it doesn't effect us come Saturday!!!
