Buggsteam Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Undone by a great free kick. Really pleased with the way we played. Just wasn't our day today. Role on Watford on Sat
Vacamion Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Sometimes you don't get what you deserve. We stole 2 points on Saturday. We really deserved all 3 today. Can't fault the performance too much.
ARM1968 Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Could have won, shod have won, didn't win so we move on. We've got points on the board and I fancy West Ham to pull the plug on Spurs. We'll be ok.
Finnaldo Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Another point towards the title, West Brom were always going defensive and did well. We'll be gifted a lot more room against Watford. Onwards we go!
isleofwightfox Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 I can't articulate how horrific it was to watch that on Gillette Soccer Special. Macinally was all over the place. Rollercoaster. I'm upset about this because it's another chance for everyone to say we can't break parked buses down.
PegguyArphexad Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Really good match! Exciting stuff. We aren't half being treated to some of the most entertaining football this season. Unfortunate result but it's another point...
possiblygeorge Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Ulloa needs to start ahead of Okazaki, simple as that.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 This is why we needed to sign another striker No. Let's not have any of that rubbish. Vardy and Shinji were both sharp and linked well. Sometimes you just have to accept you played well and were unlucky.
Guest ttfn Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Good performance, probably got what we deserved over the last 2 games overall. Win on Saturday and we're still on track. Any less than 7 points from the 3 games this week will have us struggling to be competitive in the title race but that's no great shame in the scheme of things.
jayfox26 Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 So frustrating, I thought we played really well and should have had 6. West Brom really are crap, I would hate to watch them every week. 2 points dropped but a good performance and can't knock the effort and chances created, just need to be more clinical cos spurs and arsenal will be in the remaining games. Fingers crossed west ham can help us out tomorrow
MC Prussian Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Look at the bright side... We're playing some lovely football still. However... Shame about all those missed chances, shame about Mahrez being overly complicated when he should go for the simple option, shame about Okazaki running himself ragged with little end product, shame about Morgan hitting the keeper with his shot, shame about Ulloa missing it at the very end. It wasn't meant to be with the three points today, but if it hadn't been for a great free-kick goal by West Bromwich, we probably wouldn't be having this discussion. It's away at Watford next. Time to regroup and refocus and learn the lesson from tonight's game. We can be more clinical than that and that's what we're going to need against the Hornets.
Ric Flair Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Played well going forward but defensively a little sloppy. Should really have won it at the end with a few of those chances, now let's see how Spurs handle things. Two wins from them before we next play and they will be big favourites.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 how lucky are west brom to get out of that with anything, completely on way traffic , bar hit twice several great saves from foster... just one of those nights where nothing goes for you
Sharpe's Fox Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 We were unlucky tonight but lucky on Saturday. These things tend to balance out over a season. West Ham are great at home and hopefully a draw doesn't cost us too much. Great goals tonight as well.
Socks Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 great game, we aint gonna quit, proud BUT should of won that
Guest BlueBrett Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Thought a draw would disappoint me more than it has. We played bloody well without our most influential player. Created loads of chances and kept going right to the end. The next ten games will be incredible
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Played so well, can't believe we didn't win. Praying for a West Ham result tomorrow!
SecretPro Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 **** Pulis and his shit excuse for football. Unlucky boys, chucked the kitchen sink at that and couldn't do much else really. Praying for a West Ham win tomorrow now.
thegaffa Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 As I said on the other post, hope west brom get relegated the jammy f###ers
Captain... Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Frustrated we played really well, but just couldn't get that 3rd, still annoyed about the handball for their second, Mahrez was being pushed, thought the officials were quite frustrating today, but no excuses could have and should have won but we didn't. We're still top and I believe we will still be top tomorrow, but no drama if we aren't.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Spurs title then Completely disagree. At worse they go joint top. Spurs still have to go to Stoke, West Ham, Man Utd and Chelsea
foxes21 Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Ulloa needs to start ahead of Okazaki, simple as that. Wtf? Shinji played well?
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 We played very well to be fair. All this rubbish about how we can't play against packed defences, we created millions of opportunities and would have won 9 times out of 10. They scored with their one chance from our error and from a free kick. **** them, they have some sort of curse on us at our place. Keep playing like that and we'll win the league.
Heskey2011 Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Gutted, deserved a win today, think we need to be bringing dyer on in those situations. West ham will do us a job against spurs I'm almost sure if it
lgfualol Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Unlucky, really thought we would win that with how well we played. But these things happen. Thought Albrighton was really dangerous and bringing him off for Ulloa seems like a really Pearsony thing to do. Schlupp is quick but his crosses are nothing in comparison. lmao at anyone feeling like complaining about the team. Mahrez glory hunting? He played really well.
