Are you enjoying this season enough?

There was a point made on 5live last night saying "when next season comes, and stuff all goes back to normal, I worry we all haven't enjoyed this season enough"

And I do tend to agree, I am loving this season there's been no feeling like it, but I keep thinking now, have I enjoyed this season enough because there might not be another one like it!

I don't think I am, mainly because I can't believe what's happening. I am enjoying it, don't get me wrong, but probably less so than our Championship winning season for example. If we win it I'll probably just spontaneously burst into tears, or die, or something.

You've got to work under the assumption that this won't be the norm and I wonder if there's a chance that, if we win the league, I'll never care as much again. I'll have seen an achievement which will surpass anything I could ever have reasonably expected of the club.

Right now it is very stressful to be honest, I spend my whole day worrying about, Spuds, Arsenal, Man Shitty, Man Un-United and even West Spam, it is my mentality, I'm absolutely obsessed with the fixtures and Chelski and United away scares me to death!!!Why? A few reasons we are Leicester, will this ever happen again in my life time? Will we lose Mahrez and Kante next season, last few games Spuds and Arsenal have easier games, HELP!!! I need to lie down!

It is stressful as we get towards the end, however I am definitely enjoying it.

I find it hard to recall a season where I have left so many games thinking 'what a cracking game'.

There are so many of our players playing great football. I enjoyed the Bloomfield era ( where we did play some great football), the Brian Little era for the Wembley visits and of course the O' Neill era. However, no matter what happens now, I feel this will be the greatest season I have seen in my 55 years. The fact it has followed the 'greatest escape' in footballs history just adds to the enjoyment.

Me too, a part of me hates this season as it's too stressful. I've actually woke up in the middle of the night stressing about Leicester, the last time was when we drew with West Brom.

I was nothing like this last season because if we got relegated I knew we'd be back at some point but this season is a now or never season so to miss out would be the most sickening feeling I've ever had about Leicester. I'm obsessed about Leicester City this season.

This season has been a thing of true beauty. I've enjoyed every last second of it - every game - every win, every interview, everything.

The players have been absolutely sublime, Ranieri - incredible.

I've tried my best to stay calm, but I've been a emotional wreck at times - including last night after the Watford game where, after a few beers I was a little choked up when they showed us 5 clear at the top of the table.

I see no reason why we can't continue to play like this next season - maybe we won't be quite as high up the table, but as long as there isn't a mass exodus of players leaving (and with a possible title win and CL football, why would they?) then I don't see why we can't carry on.

What a time to be alive... hah. :scarf:

It's not about enjoying it in between the games for me. All the stress and anxiety during the week comes out even more in the goal celebrations and final whistles. Yesterday was something else.

I don't know how people cope watching on TV or listening on the radio though. It definitely helps being there. I don't know why.

This morning is that 'moment in time'. Go back to the same point of last season and the greatest escape in PL history had begun with kingys scrappy goal. Look at the table today and the greatest achievement in modern world football looks feasible, all within 38 games!!

There is no escaping it. We have witnessed the most incredible year. no one could have scripted it. No one could have dreamt it as the players took the applause after West Ham. throw in the shannanigans of the summer management change and not even Hollywood could do this justice. Pinch yourself, you're an LCFC fan and its unlikely to get much better .......... Could it?

Same. I haven't been to an away game this season which means wathpching on telly when we're on. It's definitely more stressful than being there. When I'm at home games I'm surrounded by people I can have a laugh with, vent frustration with, celebrate with. On the box it's me in a roommwith no outlet until a hge sense of relief at the final whistle.

This and the post below regarding the obsession over fixtures sum up my feelings on it.

Unnecessarily getting stressed out about when the rearranged fixtures are happening for Arsenal / Man City too.

Enjoying it a ton, we play well and win and are top! Plus next season we will be able to enjoy CHAMPIONS LEAGUE football!

How can you not enjoy it.

It's a pleasure to have witnessed this season and fighting for the title is a whole lot less stressful than trying to stay in the division.

Whatever happens just finishing in the top 3 would still be an amazing achievement.

To win it would be immense.

You have to enjoy it.

I felt yesterday was one of the best away atmospheres for a while. I think people are starting to enjoy the ride.

I am with OP and Foxfanzaer- it is just too much to comprehend and it still do not feel real to me even more that I do not have a season ticket and live in London so I do feel detached from the whole experience sometimes.  Envious of regulars who go every week.

Loving it and hating  at the same time. Enjoying winning games, enjoying being top of the league and all the attention that brings. Hating the dread and fear  we might balls this up and never get this chance again .

Much preferred the relegation battles in the champsonship with only 20,000 watching!!!!

Loving it truly, even if we don't win the title we have already surpassed our highest points total in the PL. You can argue this is the best ever season we have had, just the football we playamd the amount of goals we are scoring. It is just unreal.
