StanSP Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 It's not about enjoying it in between the games for me. All the stress and anxiety during the week comes out even more in the goal celebrations and final whistles. Yesterday was something else. I don't know how people cope watching on TV or listening on the radio though. It definitely helps being there. I don't know why. million times this. the way the team keeps producing performance after performance really brings out the better celebrations following the emotions leading up to the match!
Raj Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Agree with The Fez- listening to away games is horrible... Atleast if your there you can make a difference!!!
Matt Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Yes and no, I'm really enjoying it (How can you not be!! ), but I think i'll enjoy reflecting on it after the season rather than I have at the time! I dunno, it's a case of not letting myself get carried away. It's been great though.
Leicesterpool Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 It's exciting but nerve racking, in some ways you don't want the season to end but you can't relax until the job's done.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 I'm not sure. Maybe I'm not invested in it the way other people are. It's always seemed a bit pathetic to me when people say that their going to burst into tears when Vardy scores a goal. Football is a part of my life but I don't let my emotional wellbeing revolve around the the weekend result. I always think we can win every game so it doesn't give me a massive high if we do win, but I do get pissed off if we don't.
David Hankey Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 We've proved we're not a one season wonder like Cardiff, Blackpool and others. Make no mistake we are in the Premiership and aim to be there for years to come. The success the manager and players have given us this season has been the best drug I've ever taken.
Manwell Pablo Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 My liver tells me I am enjoying it too much About to say exactly this destroying my insides
Crinklyfox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 I've been supporting City sine the 1960s and most of the enjoyable times have been our cup runs and our promotion seasons from the old Div 2 and now the Championship. This year we have the chance not to be great but to be outstanding. I'm smiling most of the time, this is the most enjoyable it's been for me.
Larry_LCFC Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 I don't agree with all this "back to normal next season" guff. Yes some of the top teams haven't been consistent this season but we have played incredibly well. Our desire and conviction is like no other and our game is incredibly hard to play against. Other teams may improve next season but there is no reason for us to become shit if we hold on to our players. We can still be right up there.
Lestoh Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 When we're back to being a mid-table Championship team, we can do a Forest and say "yeah but we used to be massive so it doesn't matter that we just got smashed 5-0 by Burton Albion" It's all I've ever wanted
Durnerz Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Finding it hard to believe we are where we are as a typical 'glass half empty' Leicester supporter. It's hard to kick the habit of expecting an implosion ala the Adams Premier League season. The exhilaration at the final whistle and during games we're scoring and dominating is an amazing feeling, long may it continue!

TheSomersetFox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 I'll be talking about this season till the day I die. As others have said, its so hard to appreciate exactly what we're doing right now. It's weird really because a few years back im sure we all used to watch teams like Southampton and Swansea and be a bit jealous of how well they were doing, and personally i never thought i'd see us break the top 4/6 in my lifetime, so to see us top with 9 games to go... how can any of us comprehend it? It's all happening too quick for it to properly sink in, and tbf it may even take a few years to truly appreciate how unbelievable this year has been for us. But i'm definitely enjoying every minute of it.
ajthefox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 I'm loving it, I just wish I was around fellow city fans more, it's the only reason I started posting back in here having not posted for several years. Relatively speaking, my celebrations watching our games have been more intense this season, but it's not the same as being able to share the experience with fellow city fans. Still, I spend so much of my weekend following the football online and on the box just revelling in it as much as possible. Every time I think about what we're doing it gives me a massive big cheesy grin and I can't help but wonder what the hell is going on.
MGLCFC Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Whilst this season goes from strength to strength, I'm sure I'm developing an ulcer as each match comes around I become more and more anxious. This time last year it was a case of nothing to lose and there was an expectation that the likely hood we would be relegated was real. Once we got out of the bottom three, there were just a few games left. 12 months further on and we are 5 points clear. I just hope we can sustain this and recreate what we achieved over the last 9 games last season.
Bayfox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 It is making me feel incredibly happy Nah that's n'golo Kante.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Love it but as a Leicester fan you always think we'll **** it up until confirmed. Feel like if we don't win it then what's the point in ever hoping again as our chance would be gone
Filbert_Ross Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Weirdly I don't feel nervous going into each game. Always fancy us to win and just enjoying Every second & know no matter what happens the players should be so proud of what they have done this season.
Great Boos Up Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Far too much pressure, I'm a bag of nerves analysing all permutations because it's the most important time of my life. Yes I know I'm supposed to say my wedding day or the birth of my son but this will live on longer after my demise. But I do know I when "things go back to normal next season" I will savour Champions League and enjoy it without so much expectation.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 I love it more than anything! I feel like I never want it to end but at the same time I want it to finish right now. What we're witnessing week in and week out is phenomenal. I can't express into words my love for this club, I just feel so privileged to be a part of this, it's absolutely incredible.
SystonFox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 It's exciting but nerve racking, in some ways you don't want the season to end but you can't relax until the job's done. Well summed up wymsey
Merging Cultures Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 I feel like I'm in a weird Zen place. Almost like it's not happening to me. But I'm really bragging about it to people I meet, but not sure I totally believe it myself. Hurry up summer!!
Heskey2011 Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 I don't know what I'm doing, week in week out I get people asking if I think we'll win it, I've no idea, still think we could easily lose 10 in a row and I wouldn't be disappointed with the season. I suppose we're not used to this in even a small amount, we basically don't know how to act,we're in a permanent state of suspended animation where half of me wants to go mental after every 3 points and the other airs on the side of caution. I don't know if I like it maybe preferred the championship.
