leicesterlad1989 Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 there is only one man who can make him pick him...and that's tom ... My names Tom and I am not going to pick him.
Guest Col city fan Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 If you're good enough, you're old enough. Can't see Gray moaning too much.. Lawrence was always one of Pearson's less good signings. He's bang average.
BigWesMorgan Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Jeff Schlupp is 1 year older than him and has 120 more appearances for the club
Gerard Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 there is only one man who can make him pick him...and that's tom ... I always remember O'Neill saying he doesn't pick the team, the players do. If we had an 18 year old Messi in our ranks he would be old enough.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Lawrence was dropped to the Cardiff bench for their win over Derby on Saturday. Didn't get on either.
ARM1968 Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Erm - how sour are your grapes son? You make it impossible for him to ignore you and moan then. Currently you're bobbins. Nuff said.
Captain... Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 I always remember O'Neill saying he doesn't pick the team, the players do. If we had an 18 year old Messi in our ranks he would be old enough. But would he be good enough?
GingerrrFox Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Silly, silly boy. Claudio plays nice but he's ****ing ruthless when he has to be. That's Lawrence done in a Leicester shirt. Claudio takes no shit if you disrespect him.
Fox92 Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Tbf it's very difficult for Renieri to change anything at the minute. Chilwell is obviously highly rated but unfortunately for him we have a superb left full back already, two years earlier and Chilwell would probably have been playing.
NGoloMode Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Gave him the chance to show what he can do in the Championship... apparently he can't do much.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 He was pretty dreadful when he came on whilst we were bottom last year, he's going to have to improve his game (and attitude) if he wants to get anywhere near a team at the top of the league!
Woof Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 This, I bet, is a classic case of a reporter twisting his words to suit an agenda - if you have ever been interviewed by a reporter you will know how it works! Lawrence is still young and may well have potential even if he is not pulling up trees in the Championship yet - he seems to have put in some good performances and is regularly in the Wales squad. We will see - of course he may turn out to be rubbish like that kid Kane we had on loan.

MPH Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Sounds to me like he could be angling for a move. If you put in a transfer request you lose your loyalty bonus, if a club accepts an offer outside of a transfer request, the player gets a loyalty bonus. Its probably just an agent trying to get some interest in him....
shailen Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Yeah because our first team is struggling and he has proved to be better than Albrighton/Mahrez.
Rincewind Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Players have to give themselves chances to play. Vardy did it last season. He was a bench regular but put in the effort and proved that he was good enough.
fuchsntf Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Chilwell, Schlupp, Gray, Armatey....Mr Lawrence have a word with these lads. Or twitty Sun journalist, get back to your barmates at Sevensisters...
ealingfox Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Were they not wanking themselves silly over him at Blackburn previously? If he thought he'd done enough there to slide straight into the squad of a top-4 chasing side in January then he's a prat. This is a 2 line tweet from a Sun journo with no direct quotes though so let's not jump all over him just yet.
MPH Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Blackburn for 3 million. You heard it here first. ( i'm just guessing really! please don't ban me for being a fake ITK!!).
Guest Bilo Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 A bit of an odd allegation when we've signed Gray, who looks one hell of a prospect and is still a teenager.
AyewJoking Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 this discussion stops dead with "according to the Sun's Phil Cadden"
Koke Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Average age of our first eleven is 28.1. Danny Simpson is our youngest starting defender and he's 29. Kante is our youngest player and he is 25. I know some of these players are late bloomers but there is a good maturity about our starting eleven.
