what? Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Decent start but fell away worryingly. Time for some Claudio magic I think
fuchsntf Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 If Okazaki could stand up, and stay on his feet..we'd have at least 5 more attempts. Coaching staff and Ranieri must have words with him... Mahrez, just being marked out of the game, surrounded by 3 players at least. Mahrez n Albrighton change sides purposrly for 10-15 minutes. King on for Shinji after 10.
MC Prussian Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Been some awful individual performances. Okazaki, schmeichel, mahrez. All been useless. Sunderland are a terrible side and there is so much space to exploit but we're making some bad decisions with the ball. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk You mean Kasper Schmeichel, the same guy who came up with a class save against Borini that could've easily led to Sunderland taking the lead? There's no pleasing some people. However, I think his kicking has been rather... mediocre in the first half.
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 How is Okazaki being booted in the ribs not a penalty? Christ there are some idiots on here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I suspect you would be spitting blood if it was given against us.
martyn Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 The one thing this half has demonstrated yet again is that we must do our absolute damnedest to make sure Kante is here next season.
Nalis Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 According to the main commentator, the current Italy manager and future Chelsea manager is everywhere in our midfield.
Harry96 Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Ulloa needs to come on. Need someone To hold the ball up
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Maybe we should also give Sunderland some credit - their game plan is slowly having more of an effect on the game
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Is anyone really watching? Nearly every chance we've had has come through Shinji
Jacafox Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Yep, Mahrez disappointing so far, but he showed that one piece of magic. Should improve 2nd half, Claudio will sort it out
Mezeker Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 The one thing this half has demonstrated yet again is that we must do our absolute damnedest to make sure Kante is here next season. Sadly he is the one player most likely to leave given the demand for a player of his skill set in many of the top teams.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Albrighton on the right, mahrez in the middle and gray on for shinji down the left. If it's stil now working bring on Leo. There's no room in the middle, Riyad would just get crowded out. It's not his day get someone else on.
Karljohn Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Okazaki likes the deck. He doesn't jump and he spends most of his time on his arse. Never looks in control. Kante and Albrighton were the standouts in a poor first half, Mahrez wont last beyond the hour at this rate.
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Yes. The Okazaki one As I said above none of us would be happy if it was the other way round. No penalty for me.
Webbo Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 If Carlsberg did biased. Have they? Schmeichel save aside they've done nothing but foul and hack. We've had a nailed on penalty not given (yedlins karate kick on shinji), a golden chance for morgan and had most of the territory.
Corky Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Okazaki makes some excellent runs but for some reason loses his footing or doesn't produce the right ball. He did well for Vardy's mishit though. I see the calls for King to come in and replace him, it worked at Watford and we'd played better in that match. Vardy hasn't done himself any favours either and needs to improve.
Larry_LCFC Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 This is just a scrap, Jeff on for Mahrez please, at least he'll but up for it.How many times. He's not on the bench!
surrifox Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 I wouldn't replace Mahrez - always capable of one unique bit of magic despite being anonymous for most of a game
ashfosse Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Okazaki has found some really good positions, but his final ball is missing as per most of the time. Mahrez hasn't found any space yet to be fair to him and has always had about 3 Sunderland players on him. Would be thinking about bringing king or schlupp on for okazaki to tighten things up. WYS
ImBlue Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Is anyone really watching? Nearly every chance we've had has come through Shinji Hence it's 0-0.
Callabinho Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Ulloa needs to come on. Need someone To hold the ball up Disagree, Sunderland will want a physical battle....we need to keep it on the floor.
fuchsntf Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 None of the 3 penalty shout (our 2 and their 1) were ever penalties. can only agree...
The Doctor Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 I suspect you would be spitting blood if it was given against us. Don't be ridiculous, it's a kick to the chest getting nowhere near the ball. Strong shout for a red, a definite penalty. There's no other call that can be made correctly.
