I would personally rather see Griezmann, Carrasco and Gameiro out lol

You can add Oblak to that list. Guy's a beast in goal.

If and its a big if we could beat Atletico, we could potentiality draw the winners of Dortmund vs Monaco and surely we fancy our chances against either of them.

Luis Hernandez has got Griezmann in his back pocket - first 5 mins anyway!

Cancel that. Hernandez just allowed Torres to turn on six quids worth of loose change on the edge of the box. One Nil Atletico. Deffo shipped the right one out. Benalouane would never allow that...

For what it's worth, Sevilla continue to be shit, dropping to 4th behind Atletico now (they had a 9 pts advantage not too long ago), and just drew at home to a team in the relegation zone. Would like to think that Vardy's goal at their place broke them. They're not in a good place right now, what with their DOF/head scout leaving and being booed by their own fans.

Here's a clip I just found of Sevilla players arguing over who should take the penalty at their place lol

Watched the Athetico game against a very poor Malaga side (Hernandez played). They won easily enough, without really getting into a canter.

Carrasco, who I think is one of their danger men, did not play and Torres (overweight and past it) started instead of Gameiro.

The defence looks vulnerable, although their best central defender, Godin, only came on towards the end of the game. Savic (once of Man City) is a bit of a liability at centre half, and the full backs (Felipe Luis - previously of Chelsea, and Juanfran have seen better days. The goalkeeper Oblak, who has had some rave reviews but was poor for Slovenia against Scotland, was solid without being spectacular.

The midfield is strong. Saul is a box to box player and likes to make runs into the box. Koke and Gabi are reliable. Technically, in this area they are probably better than us, so we won't out pass them - just get the ball quickly to Vardy and Mahrez so that they can run at their defence.

I think we have an excellent chance of scoring in the away time. If we can come back with, at worst, a 2-1 defeat we have everything to play for

If we come back 2-1 then get ready for a frustrating 90mins of time wasting, play acting etc and just Madrid having 11 players behind the ball. When they want to be, they Are the most well drilled, defensively sound sides in Europe at this moment.

I always found judging your next opponent based on their last league game extremely helpful.

Make no mistake, Atlético are a different proposition and they will definitely be up for it.

I don't know how other people feel, but with teams like athletico, and indeed anyone in the last 8 of the CL frankly, I always fear that there is the danger of them beating us by 3, 4 or worse and the tie being over in the first leg.

That being said if we can score, and keep it to within two goals (preferably one), I fancy us to beat anyone at the KP on our day.

It's only Sarabia being a dick from what I can tell from that. I actually thought fair play Jovetic, seems very supportive of Correa after handing him the ball himself.

Which is fine. We will be frustrated for 90 minutes and then pop up with the winner 90+2. No time for a Madrid comeback.
