It's not over yet - fat lady's not singing.

some of the Spurs players were crying after the game tonight, and after their 2nd half display I'm not surprised.

Although we need to finish the job, I think a 6.5 point lead (because of GD), with 9 on the table, is pretty comfortable. We are hungrier and mentally stronger than Spurs, good as they are.

Boing boing!

A celebration tonight but tomorrow get down to the hard graft with the game face on.

It's not inconceivable we draw two and lose one of our last three and Tottenham win all theirs.

We need to go at Man Utd like it was our last games of the season, the same mentality Claudio and the boys have had all season.

This is all about character.  Spurs gave in to their inner Arsenal by celebrating with the lion tweets and locker room photos.  Then they imploded, and will lose one or two players going forward.  Our character, for 44 match weeks running now, has not wavered. We are getting stronger.  We have conceded 5 goals when playing with 11 men since Boxing Day.  5 goals.

Ranieri will be telling the players 'anything can happen'. But, the truth is, we won the hard matches weeks ago, against Newcastle, and Palace, and Norwich, etc.  We won them with character, and effort, in the trenches.  We won them by being almost impossible to beat.

The team will not let this slip from them now.  As Ranieri said, no regrets.

This is still far from over. The pressure on us now becomes something different. The last points are often the hardest to get and sport is full of plucky losers and runners up who didn't have quite enough to cross the line.

One win sounds easy but it won't be. Spurs are like a cornered animal now with nothing to lose. It is all about how both sets of players react now. Will ours finally get nervous? Can Spurs react in the sort of positive way we did against west Ham in those last few minutes?

Still all to play for. We are in a great position but to all those who think it's done it isn't.

Anybody thinking the team they saw two days ago, the same team that's lost just three times to two sides all season, is suddenly going to fall apart hasn't been paying attention.

Stop your mithering and enjoy the end to the greatest season in our history.

Nine points remaining, seven point gap and a demoralised Spurs playing Chelsea, who want to see the Spurs crushed, still to play a Saints side going for Europe and a Newcastle side fighting relegation.

Leicester playing a Man Utd. team with thoughts on a game at Wembley, a demoralised Everton and a Chelsea side that will be on the beach.

It would take a reversal of biblical proportions to throw this away now.

I think we will lift the trophy in our final home game if not at the theater of dreams.

The way to win the title is to keep playing like we have been.  That means ignoring what Spurs have done and have to do and concentrating on our own game.  There will be plenty of time for celebrating if we get over the line.

We've kept a lot of clean sheets so it's not beyond our defence to do that for the next three matches, which would get us there now.

Congrats to you guys. Well deserved. Held your nerve well when others thought you'd melt. Me included if I'm honest. Enjoy the last few games of the season, you've played a blinder

Fair play pal.

To be honest, I can very really see Chelsea beating them. We might not need another point.

In a way I'd like Chelsea to have the pleasure of finally killing Spurs dreams.

Chelsea fans will feel like they have won the league if the plunge the sword into spuds.

Agree with this, and with the OP.

Long-standing City fans tend to feel that if there's a chance we can fvck it up, we will. Everyone at the club - the players, the manager, the back-up team - needs to stay focused. I'm hoping for a win against Man U (would take a point at this stage of the season) and for Chelski to beat Spurs - convincingly. That way, the Everton match can be a real celebration, and we'll be handed the trophy after the game. By a fat lady?

Still work to do and against some dangerous sides. Even Everton on paper have a cracking team and if they suddenly have a good day, they could be very difficult to beat. Man U we know are finding form and even Chelsea will not hand it to us. 3 very tough games on paper. Have full confidence we can get a win though but have to be on it.

Hopefully Chelsea can beat Spurs Monday night and it is set up to be a great game. If Alli gets banned which he 100% should do, and Dier is injured, then that could really deflate Spurs so we might not even need another win. Would be great to do it in style though and beat the team I've hated for years in the process at the weekend then massive celebration home against Everton

Fortunately, the game is not played on paper...

Mind you, you're right - Everton are probably the weakest of the three teams, and they have some cracking players.

Let's just hope we win it in style, like we've been playing all season.
