StanSP Posted 6 May 2016 Share Posted 6 May 2016 Either way, there isn't a lot of room for movement in terms of the date to have the parade, so surely people can see that and see that by starting at 6pm, it at least gives people the best chance, rather than just crying and moaning about it i agree. I can't make it and am pretty annoyed I can't as the opportunity might not come about. But can understand date availability is restricted. Could it not have been done on 22nd? Or the Bank Holiday Monday at the end of the month?

I though the privatised rogues would jack the prices up immediately it as announced - but haven’t done so yet

thybluefox Posted 6 May 2016 Share Posted 6 May 2016 My office overlooks Jubilee square - it's actually on the same row of buildings as Subway so we'll be getting a prime seat for the start!

one F in Fox Posted 6 May 2016 Share Posted 6 May 2016 I've been told today that Kasabian are playing on the stage at Vicky Park. Has anyone else heard this?
digitalalba Posted 6 May 2016 Share Posted 6 May 2016 Victory park is a poor choice. Yes, it can take many people, but if you're not near the front, and the stage is head high, you won't see shit. The Oval at Abbey park would be a more appropriate choice. Can hold just as many people, and it has a balcony high up so that everyone can see the players holding the trophy. I would suggest Abbey park is closer to fans generally too.
Carl the Llama Posted 7 May 2016 Share Posted 7 May 2016 Been told I can have the day off. Now just need to sort out transport and somehow remain sober enough to get home for work the next day.

Does anyone know if the shop will be open Monday? As on the website it states that the ground will be closed on Monday but I'm not sure if that means the shop as well? psychonaut Posted 10 May 2016 Share Posted 10 May 2016 A 6 hour wait? Rather you than me. If you're making a day of it then you might as well just head to viccy park and spend the time there. Folks finishing work at the usual - I guess would be better off finding a place on the route and then heading to viccy park after.
