Vardy

All the stuff in this thread about Vardy's appearance, his wife's appearance, her sexual past, wishing he gets injured etc is downright embarrassing.

Get a grip. If, for any reason the move fell through, a lot of you would be left with egg on your faces.

He gave Leicester fans some great times. Our best ever times.

If he goes it's sad, but we are fans of Leicester City, not Jamie Vardy.

some people on here are embarrassing, can you imagine if he doesn't plan to leave and then read some of the shít being spouted on here about him?

if you're the kind of emotional, angry little man who wants to abuse a Leicester player while he's still here, then you should stay off the internet, at least wait until he actually joins another team, morons.

This all day long

He said all that and added why would I leave on the end. Being slightly pedantic there.

having just watched the v9 video again, he didn't.

I purchased an England shirt with Vardy on the back, suppose that's no so bad

Was going to get it signed and framed but suppose I'll have to go down London now lol

Not long before an embarrassing group of spotty teenagers will record themselves burning Vardy shirts.

We are not cleveland.

So Giroud has been told that Vardy wants to join Arsenal.. Haven't we all been told that? lol

Anyway, IF he goes, it won't go well for him. I believe he plays well in a Leicester shirt with these set of players around him. Look at Lambert, Lallana and Luke Shaw. They all played great in a Southampton shirt with their team spirit but didn't do too well with another team.

Come on, 'we hope we can keep everyone together'? Surely if he hopes that, then he doesn't go?

I'm no wordsmith, but that is not saying "I'm staying here" or "I'm going nowhere" which keeps getting chucked about.

There's an image doing the rounds on Twitter with a totally made up quote about never leaving as well.

I'll stick to what people say, footballers are all the same. They are careful to never fully commit.

As a professional footballer why would you come out and say "I've heard player x wants to move here"

Bloody lack of class

That's just Arsenal though

Remember Pearson FC when Nige left?

Still think it's a bit bizarre I got odds of 1/2 at 1am for this to go through if, as widely reported, his medical is happening today.

Is it true that they are renaming Hand Avenue as Vardy Way?

The highest paid manager in world football (i believe) managed to make Vardy look like a poor mans Trevor Benjamin.

Leicester were obviously so meticulously well tuned with all the perfect components last season that he had the season he had.

We still have the management structure that have commited

You are seriously telling me you didn't take it that he was staying based on those comments. You are being very pedantic, he didn't need to say all that shite but he did and now he has gone against it weeks later so he is a snake.

Oh well... Players will always want to leave for one reason or another. It's replacing them that's key, so over to Walsh and Ranieri.

On the plus side we won't be stuck paying someone a fortune when his pace goes in a couple of years like Arsenal.

People chucking about inaccurate quotes and me correcting them isn't really being pedantic. No I formed no opinion on what he said because it's football, with silly money and many bigger clubs than us.

The only reason I thought he'd stay was because he's 30 next season and that's a lot of money for someone whose game is all about pace. I honestly didn't think someone would pay it.

The last 90+ pages can't be undone - Jamie Vardy (potentially) leaving was always going to be a hot and heated topic. Surely, our main assets are and were still hot commodities and this could've been expected to a certain extent.

I agree with the stuff about him, his appearance or the injury wishes silly to downright stupid. It's not helping the cause, but probably even fueling the flames further.

I don't think the majority of fans are complaining about the fact that he is leaving or could be leaving, it's the circumstances that are more baffling than anything else. Because he's given the impression of wanting to remain a part of this club and squad and test his skills on a European level with Leicester. And that after all the club has given to him and stuck with him through thick and thin, pushing him this far.

Yes, the deal could still fall through - but we've come this far and the approach has been made, so there's concrete interest. And maybe a medical today, with an announcement of the transfer by tomorrow Monday.
