TheReaper87 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Vardy out, Ox in on an exchange then we'll sign someone like Shane Long
dylanlegend Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Fcuk Vardy! Can't wait for him to get a bad reception when he returns to the best atmosphere in the PL
Matt Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 I agreed everything was just rumours, now Giroud did the interview i'm starting to think different and admit defeat. Stringer is claiming techinicalities with someone saying Giroud said Vardy wants to join Arsenal but Stringer replied that Giroud said he 'heard' Vardy wants to join Arsenal and Stringer claims that is very different. Not the Stringer knows F all anyway. I'm actually surprised how quiet Stringer and Bourne have been.
Cunningfox Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Vardy has no love or loyalty for us the fans, or for the club or for his team mates. A release clause says to everyone... 'If I do well here, I ain't staying'. Let's be honest.. who wouldn't be tempted by a guaranteed 2nd to 4th place finish in the Prem and Champs league knockout stage every year!!
sandy2109 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 I bought a shirt with vardy on the back on friday morning aswell. For god's sake
Babylon Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 No he did not... he was saying why would he want to leave... we have won the title and have champions league. I can't be bothered to go around finding the quotes word for word but he said a lot to suggest there was never no intention of leaving... He never said he wouldn't leave, which is what people are saying. We've won the league, we're in the champions lesgue, I'm happy here... Very different thing.
MC Prussian Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Which is what I said to start with, making your post pretty pointless no? I just wanted to show that there have been a couple of other sources besides Ranieri's quote confirming the approach by Arsenal, because you said everything else beside the Gazzetta bit was just "Twitter noise" - which it wasn't.
Fox 4 Life Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 He never said he wouldn't leave, which is what people are saying. We've won the league, we're in the champions lesgue, I'm happy here... Very different thing. He said all that and added why would I leave on the end. Being slightly pedantic there.
blue army 1988 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Ranieri has admitted the approach. Things like the medical are all just rumours. Don't believe everything just because some newspaper has said it
RowlattsFox Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Kante/mahrez will get away with anything they say because English is their second language. It's easy for vardy to say them things when he doesn't have an offer on the table. It's not what he's said previously that pisses me off its the fact that his agent has made clubs aware of his potential availability.

m4DD0gg Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 I'm actually surprised how quiet Stringer and Bourne have been. To be fair to both i think like the fans and club management they are completely shocked, disappointed and hurt to even know what to say.

Everyone knows one story sets everyone off. I could easily say I have spoke with Jamie personally and he's told me he's not leaving. Now all a newspaper would need to do is pick that little part up and publish it in a small story and it would be backpack news on the sun the next day.

theessexfox Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 The thing I'm most livid about is that I completed the challenge of getting Jamie Vardy into my General Studies paper as much as possible and now he's going, the examiner is gonna think I'm a right dickhead now.
Guest Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 All that money you, hope you finally buy some good tooth paste you yellow toothed tramp It made me laugh. I'll laugh again if he stays.
ImBlue Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Vardy has no love or loyalty for us the fans, or for the club or for his team mates. A release clause says to everyone... 'If I do well here, I ain't staying'. Let's be honest.. who wouldn't be tempted by a guaranteed 2nd to 4th place finish in the Prem and Champs league knockout stage every year!! Is it guaranteed now? United with Mourinho, City with Pep, Spurs look a better side that are getting better with age. Then Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea. Knockout? So last 16 and occasion quarter final before being thrashed? Arsenal aren't that attractive, are not really showing signs of going places. It's money. And if picking him up as a non league player, and helping him become a premier league champion doesn't gain loyalty, nothing will. He is showing his scumbag side unfortunately, although I personally think it's outside influences. Wife/Agent.
LCFC FOX Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 I would totally agree if it were not for all this shit he has been chatting. Mark of a true cvnt. Wish some folk would open their eyes. where has it been said though? The only interview I've seen him say is I'm happy here, we've just won the league" which I don't see nothing wrong? All the other quotes were just from newspapers. He's a history maker here. Just don't boo him. No need to applaude him either. Then if he takes time out to come and applaude us then that's up to him
WigstonWanderer Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 You can either browse through this thread and piece the information together yourself or just believe it when I say that the release clause was created as a compromise between Vardy's agent (acting on behalf of his client) and the club. I suppose either the club wanted a larger sum implemented in the clause, but the agent refused (knowing that he would've threatened with Vardy leaving last January) or the club simply came to the conclusion that Vardy wasn't/isn't worth more than that. Again, he's 29 going on 30 and has one (1!) good season to show for. Players' values and evaluations are a construct of many different components and I suppose £20m is fair, no matter how rose your tinted glasses are. Got to agree with this
SheppyFox Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 It made me laugh. I'll laugh again if he stays. That is funny
shade Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 some people on here are embarrassing, can you imagine if he doesn't plan to leave and then read some of the shít being spouted on here about him? if you're the kind of emotional, angry little man who wants to abuse a Leicester player while he's still here, then you should stay off the internet, at least wait until he actually joins another team, morons.
theessexfox Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Thanks for confirming he didn't say he was staying. Come on, 'we hope we can keep everyone together'? Surely if he hopes that, then he doesn't go?
Guest Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 I bought a shirt with vardy on the back on friday morning aswell. For god's sake It's your fault then.
VinceNoir Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Not long before an embarrassing group of spotty teenagers will record themselves burning Vardy shirts.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 When I buy a shirt I never get a players name on the back... for this very reason
