I'd love to get Slimani and Musa but to say they're technically better than Vardy is a strong statement.

Now we are premier league champions, i'd have thought we should be paying all the players that sort of wage. We're not going to grow as a club by being chiselers forever.

I honestly believe we would be better off in the long term if we sell him. All of the players will be looking for enormous wages if we keep him, he is 29 and one ligament injury (or just the passing of time) away from becoming ineffective due to loss of explosive pace. Parallels can be drawn to Southampton but we are in a much better position to replace players than they were. Any replacement to Kante/Mahrez/Vardy will be first team champions league players. We can build a squad for a very bright future.

The only upsides I can see to keeping him is 1) we keep a cult hero striker; although this is a little sentimental maybe 2) other players are possibly more likely to stay

give Mahrez 125 a week and Kante 150 a well and Silimi 50k week ! All happy and two biggest assets saved

If we KNEW that Vardy leaving WOULDN'T cause an exodus of other players like Kante and Mahrez, would people really be that bothered if Vardy left?  Seems to me most people are worried about it starting a chain reaction among other players to do the same.
