I'm still a bit surprised that Arsenal are willing to spend £20m+ on a 29-year-old whose game relies heavily on pace.

As if he can't do other things very well and doesn't have a few good years left in him.

I think the downright slagging off of his wife and him on twitter is completely unwarranted and shouldn't happen.

 

However I do believe that her and her advisors, more so her advisors, will be trying to influence his career as much as they possibly can to maximize the 'Brand'. This is evidenced by letting magazines cover their wedding and blocking the look a like because of potential damage to the 'brand'. It seems as if they are trying to become the new Rooneys/Beckhams and it isn't out of the realms of possibility that her advisors (not her) would be pushing for a move to London so they can be seen as living the high life mixing with various celebs.

 

Hopefully he ignores it but recent events has shown that his new fame is probably getting to his head a little bit now.

Think last I saw we had the worst conversion rate of big chances in the Premier League. Giroud is very good at holding the ball up, but as an out and out goalscorer he squanders too many chances. For my part I would love us to sign someone that is proven. We need a proven prolific striker.

 

Considering the mad market we have now for strikers...the price is maybe not that bad.

Yeah, that was my thought also. It's massively tedious all of this, I've almost gone past caring - not that it's made any difference to the amount i've refreshed this page. .

Fat twat from talk sport who supports West Ham. Unfortunately, he probably is in the know.

I reckon about 60% of what this the moose spouts comes off, so keep refreshing boys.

If I had to bet on it, I'd lay money on the decision having been made already. I expect all parties involved have agreed to keep schtum until after the Euros to avoid possible issues.

Great news!! Although I may just whack £100 on Arsenal so I won't be as disappointed if he does to to Arsenal

Maybe it was all a ploy.... If Vardy has a big transfer story out of all our players and decided to stay... It may make Mahrez / Kante think twice about leaving. Would be incredible if all 3 stay. Gonna whack £100 on us winning champs league if they do
