It's a simple choice stay or go. If he's verbally agreed a contract at arsenal as reported what is he waiting for? If he and his agent are waiting for us to match the offer we are effectively being shaken down. No, not acceptable.

I honestly could see Vardy doing very well at a club like Juventus, especially in Europe where they'd be more inclined to sit back and hit on the break. I would guess that a new contract offered either has no release clause or a ridiculously high one. He is keeping his options open just like anyone else would. He is open to a move and there's nothing we can do about it.
