Dr The Singh Posted 4 February 2017 Posted 4 February 2017 Why do teams never give us chances like that (ignoring Darren Bents goal)?
foxes21 Posted 4 February 2017 Posted 4 February 2017 is it a stretch to say Fabregas is better than Ozil ? Ozils mentality is awful, he bottles it against the big sides.

ZeGuy Posted 4 February 2017 Posted 4 February 2017 Can't see the title escaping Chelsea's grasp. Quality team. Kanté was good. Özil disappearing again in big games.
HighPeakFox Posted 4 February 2017 Posted 4 February 2017 Can I just point out, in case it hasn't been mentioned, that we had an abysmal pair of transfer windows.

Not defending our recruitment too but I don't think we'd have got another player like him to join. He's world class in his position, no doubting that.

spacemunky Posted 4 February 2017 Posted 4 February 2017 I didn't realize Hull had signed Grosicki. I know Burnley just missed out on him in the summer. Good player.

fazzyfox Posted 4 February 2017 Posted 4 February 2017 However good Hazards goal was, whilst he "Beat" x amount of players how many challenges did he have to evade? I wouldn't even count that last ditch slide that arrived so late it didn't come close to winning the ball. When there's more than one of you defending instead of all running backwards and backing off at least one needs to stand up at some point and put a challenge in. Reminds me of Gary Rowett vs Bolton all those years ago running backwards from the opposition half to his own box without putting a challenge in as Nolan puts his shot round him. There's not diving in and then there's at least trying something, lawful or cynically unlawful. Like Maradona's "classic goal" v England being downgraded when you consider one of the guys he " beat" was Terry Fenwick! It's exciting, we want to see goals like that but Arsenal didn't make it difficult with their backing off and backpeddling like a bunch of misfunctioning duracell bunnies.

Dan Posted 4 February 2017 Posted 4 February 2017 Our result at Bournemouth was atrocious. They ship goals for fun.
