I used to like Tottenham, not so much now but if it wasn't for the constant rimming I could take or leave them, not really have an opinion on them, but no Tottenham, Tottenham, Tottenham The Spurs obsession is everything wrong with English football. It's the Ross Barkley syndrome. The media go absolutely crazy about teams or players before they've actually achieved anything. They see potential as making it. I think it's a big reason why the national team struggles and the league is currently falling behind other Europeans leagues, players think they've made it before the have, they don't strive to improve because everyone's telling them they're already world class. There's nothing wrong with noticing a team or player improving and being on an upwards curve but I think it's over done a bit over here. It'll never happen but the media need to take a step back at times.
Chico1958 Posted 14 May 2017 Posted 14 May 2017 Can you imagine Sam losing this and Palace going down.......... No nor me I hope Palace do remain safe for two reasons Jeff and Silva becomes available at the end of the season Oh well just as I finished so did Zaha
TheUltimateWinner Posted 14 May 2017 Posted 14 May 2017 Feel sorry for Silva, he's a great manager and even if they do go down, it has been a fantastic turnaround. His stock will certainly be high at the end of this season regardless of Hulls survival status.

TheUltimateWinner Posted 14 May 2017 Posted 14 May 2017 2-0 Palace Mountain to climb for Hull now Can feel a bit hard done by for the handball that wasn't spotted in the build up of that attack
RumbleFox Posted 14 May 2017 Posted 14 May 2017 I feel for Hull, I like them for some reason and likewise Silva. He has the look of someone who could be a bit special. That being said....... if they get relegated would certainly be interested in Maguire and Grosicki. X

At least when Hull go down we can take Maguire. 1 year left on his contract, he will cost less than £10m
Nalis Posted 14 May 2017 Posted 14 May 2017 Looks like there wont be much to play for on the last game of the season then with relegation and the premier league title sealed. 4th spot is likely to go to the last game of the season possibly but thats really it. Maybe Sky will clutch their straws with the 'Race For 8th' and show us v Bournemouth after all...
brucey Posted 14 May 2017 Posted 14 May 2017 Hull fans moaning about Marco Silva using zonal marking in the box when defending corners. Still much rather have Shakey thanks
Corky Posted 14 May 2017 Posted 14 May 2017 In their last two seasons in the Premier League, Hull have lost at home late in the campaign to a relegated side. Those results have proved so crucial. So many teams have had good runs at the bottom so it's unfortunate in that respect for Hull but losing last week was the killer.
sishades Posted 14 May 2017 Posted 14 May 2017 Zonal marking should not be allowed within ten miles of any football ground.

Ted Maul Posted 14 May 2017 Posted 14 May 2017 I can't stand Hull for a few reasons: - The way their insufferable fans carried on at us after Nige came back to us. - It's one of the worst away days I've ever been on. Proper shite. - Their colours are repulsive. I certainly won't be shedding any tears at their demise. Then again, I'm not overly happy about Swansea staying up- the only thing they have got going for them in my head is that I've never done Swansea away.
PhillippaT Posted 14 May 2017 Posted 14 May 2017 My wife is feeling a bit conflicted today - it'd be better for Arsenal if Man Utd lose, but, well, it's Spurs, so I think she's hoping for a draw
surrifox Posted 14 May 2017 Posted 14 May 2017 Hull going out with a whimper . Shame IMO I would have had Palace and esp Swansea go
