We won't win it. Hodgson will quit and new boss will be Gareth Southgate

Worse thing is this will probably happen.

We won't go anywhere decent with Hodgson in charge.

I'd not rule the Belgians out, got a very tidy side on paper but were pretty poor in Brazil I thought.

Odds on Vardy top scorer?

best price 50/1 atm.

SkyBet special Vardy to score the last goal in the final is 40/1.

Germany for me. They just always seem to turn up at the major tournaments regardless of how their preparation has been. Obviously I hope England win and in my head we can win it. But we'll have to play out of our skins in every knockout game which could lead to us just not having enough. Excited for the tournament to begin though can't beat having 2/3 games on of a major tournament every day.

61 votes so far and england are second favourites.

akin to the "golden" generation, will it be a case of having the right individuals but never being able to find the right team?

i think france will win it. if they start kante every game they'll walk it.

France with Griezmann top scorer.

Although Portugal have a piss-easy group so expect Ronaldo to get a few goals there.

France's squad is ridiculously strong in all departments. Still surprised  Gameiro didn't get a look in ahead of Giroud or Gignac but they still have Martial & Griezmann to lead the line. Then Pogba, Matuidi, our very own Kante, Diarra. The defence solid as well - Varane, Koscielny, Evra. The only weak link I'd say would be Mangala if he plays.

Ah the pre-tournament positivity where people think England can win. I can't see it personally - I'm sure at least one of our best players won't start, Roy is clueless and our defenders are, on the whole, poor. The squad has some talent but is mainly full of average players.

Just seen Belgium have got more votes that Spain in the poll which is ridiculous because Belgium are frauds and Spain are still very tidy despite a poor WC

Not England !

I'll be laying the bollox out of them !

They have the players , the manager is a Donut !

The French will be hard to stop is my personal count

I would go with France. I've slapped a tenner on Griezmann to be top scorer.

I managed to get 33-1 him topping and france winning

Belgium for me

Can't see this personally, they remind me of our own golden generation - individually and for their teams quality but just not quite living up to the height as a team.

I think Germany will win it overall, fantastic team and such a work rate

I'm going to throw it out there and say Germany wont get out of the group.

Poland will win it with NI second. Germany will finish 3rd but not as one of the better 3rd place teams.

You can all bow down to my psychic skills when it happens
