Whoever comes in is going to have a really tough job, but to last any length of time, he should smell the rot and get rid of the dressing room saboteurs and start again. The problem is and I said this before we brought Mac back, who ever comes in is going to have to work with same group of rats as the last poor fellow, and he speaks to them out of tone and they'll be in Mels office refusing to play. It reminds us of our problems under Sven. Of course, Nigel Pearson came back and sorted it out and got rid of the bad apples, but only because our owners let him do so. We finished 6th in 12/13 and lost to Watford in the play offs (Knockaert) but then we steanrolled the division the next season with 102 points. McLaren is a decent manager at that level.
