moving on to bigger and better things isn't an issue. if slimani had gone to braga for an extra tenner an hour I don't think GreenFan01 or whatever would've been kissing him goodbye

There is only a late afternoon direct flight to Rome from Algiers so you have a point there babs.

 

however, I'm not convinced by the back room  Italians argument - it's a medical which is down to our medical team.(and our insurance co).

 

if it was down to me to book a medical in Europe then I would also have booked Italy without checking there was a morning direct service from Algiers. Amazing that there isn't.

Sporting didn't even win the league, and they are both in Europe, try Boavista for an equivalent.

That's bollocks though isn't it, as Boavista aren't going to recover and compete for domestic and European trophies for seasons to come while Sporting try desperately to qualify for the Europa league.

A first touch, ability to finish one on ones under pressure? Ulloa has been great for us but as an out and out striker Slimani is far better. Ulloa holds the ball up well but his finishing in the final third is not comparable

 Slimani cried during his last match. Kante didn't even acknowledge us as a club when he left. That combined with going to a team not in the CL loses all respect from me.
