Robbie Brady

We don't need to improve the first 11 to improve the squad.

He's a decent Premier League footballer and will be useful to rotate with.

Two Years ago yes but not now. He is a decent player with a quality left foot. However I feel he's a little lightweight for a defender, He's not very strong in the Tackle like Fuchs or very tall.

I'm sure Albrighton can offer us everything that Brady can.

He is a decent player

But I can't see it unless someone is leaving as Sol says he isn't displacing anyone currently

Steve Walsh knows him well and rates him highly

I think it's a BS story

Would be a strange one, not as young or as highly rated as Gray, not going to displace Albrighton or Mahrez in the first team. I call BS on this one.

Got to be, surely!

I like Brady. And I'd be happy to see him at City. Lovely crosser of the ball. Fuchs is better defensively though.

I get the reason for looking at him - he'd be a useful player to have within what could be a tight looking Champions League squad due to our lack of qualifying first team standard 'home grown' players. He could fill a few gaps - including left back cover, which we might need if Chilwell goes.

He isn't a bad player for sure Col but 12 mill?

I think we need to get used to it, we're entering a new era of premier league money. People seem happy to pay £23m for Musa, someone totally untested in a good league... And we think £12m for someone whose performed quite well for his clubs in the prem is a lot.

Chester went for £8m, Brady about the same a year ago. Championship strikers going for £12m. Quoted £23m for seeming half the strikers in Europe from any old league.

I've said it before, I think we're keen to keep a core of players who are British or been around our leagues for some time. I think they believe it helps with the spirit. So we have to overpay a bit to do that. Rather than taking the maybe cheaper foreign option every single time.

Would be a good squad player as can play the whole left side. True he isn't a LB but utilsed as a LWB he would be fairly handy as his crossing and free kicks aren't bad at all. But if played in his more natural position competition for the AML would be fierce, and at 24 for the price, wouldn't be a bad investment.

12 million - forget it. Could probably buy half the Icelandic team for that ex Glyfi.

This sums it up very well...

All about the bigger picture I suppose
